You are dropping real gems here!! and I have a question: for example, a basketball player got 1 team practices and 1 match per week during the season, and he also went weight room 3-4 times per week. so in this case, how many exercises and sets will be chosen in each session roughly to avoid fatigue?

How do you work out weight prescription with respect to proximity to failure?

Train in a chosen rep range and take each set to the appropriate proximity to failure. If you perform more reps that you chosen range, increase the weight. If you perform less reps that your chosen range lower the weight 👍

more general S&C training when you dont need to be in peak condition, more specific S&C training for important times of the year. even though you play year round, you probably have time of the year that are more or less important 👍

Do you have any evidence or science studies to prove the efficiency on applying this different methods in different blocks? And why we should apply? example: why slow plyometric in block 3 and fast plyometrics in block 5 and 6? why long intervals conditioning in block 4?

No direct studies to prove it. Just the way I think is best. The plan goes from more general training qualities further from when the athlete needs to peak, to more specific qualities closer to their peak

High load = slower movement speed (less specific) Light load = faster movement speed (more specific)
