Programming Report Codes For a Self Monitoring Plan With Alarm Grid

With setting all of the report codes to zero, should I get an open line on my fire zone or smoke detector, will this still sound a trouble at the keypad or will all troubles stay silent?

So if you are using that same zone, (just deleting it- to add new device), you don't have to go into report code to make everything 00 right? in case you want to report to central station.....?

Hello, this video is referring to a self monitoring plan which would not send to a central station. With that being said, if you are reporting to a central and you are just changing from one Zone Type to another, yes you can leave the report code the same.

You are not programming repot code you are disabled them

This is correct. For a self monitored account, report codes do not need to be enabled.
