I was watching a bike thing video this afternoon and looked on his web site, then your video popped up. Must be a sign. I've even got the same bike as yours. The lights look great and the extra noise from the sound bomb is a great safety feature I think. The stock horn is a bit weedy. Thanks for the video mate.

Haha it's definitely a sign! They are genuinely awesome. The extra features just adds another thing that makes them worth it! Thanks for watching bud 👌🏼

Looks like Hex has filled a gap with a great product, I'm sure a lot of riders will be looking for a similar setup. Thanks for this informative walkthrough from installation to the software and reviews of all the gear. Nothing's cheap enough nowadays but I reckon you got everything right. Cheers

Good good, glad things are on the way up! Haha yeah they are corking things. Took a few attempts to not dazzle people, and not be facing the floor, but they are insane at night! Haha

@@SamVBikes thanks, it will take a while to fully get my energy levels back. This week was the first one back after Christmas for me and was hard going. Those lights are a great safety feature and will fit them to my fj1200 when it's finished as they will be great for touring.

Very informative and entertaining. I already want those Denali's, as for the EZCan it looks like its been well designed and thought out. Just need my Tiger 1200 !

Oh one more thing, I was planning to get the D3s or D4s, purely for their interchangeable lenses, but these would be just perfect for my GSA.

Hi Sam.....I had contacted KTM Austria and they informed me that it will violate warranty if this installed. Nevertheless I am taken in by the Denali lights and sound bomb and prefer to have power distribution via a CAN bus system. Your thoughts appreciated.
@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Hey! I'm not surprised as most manufacturers will take any excuse to get around warranty claims! They tend to play it safe and say most things will void warranty so they cant be held liable. Chatting with my local dealer about modifications in general, they said changing something will only impact the warranty on that specific component/system. For example, if you modify the exhaust system, and something goes with with the lights, you're still covered. But if the exhaust system had an issue, you wouldn't be covered. That's pretty much the case for most things, but if you have a legitimate issue which both parties can tell is not caused by the Hex etc, it won't be an issue

Good video Sam!....am I correct in thinking that you connect the 2nd horn to the hex can 2 wire harness and fit the piggy back terminal.Then connect green trigger wire to it.... i.e don't touch original horn?
@SamVBikes2 жыл бұрын
Close! Green piggyback wire goes onto the orignal horn, the original cable plugs into that piggyback. The denali horn is just plugged into one of the leads coming from the EzCan with the horn lead in the harness kit. Hope that makes sense!

Fantastic video big help with install. Sorry to ask you for help but the lights on my 1290s 2022 work perfect but the horn does not. The horn will work when I go into diagnostics and test it. It will make my ears bleed. But when I do it from the bikes switch only the standard horn works. I do have the horn enabled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I could not find a number to call for help from HEX
@SamVBikes Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I had a similar issue when I did mine! My solution was plug the Denali horn into the Hex ezCan loom but not to the stock horn, then run the green trigger wire to the stock horn from the EzCan. That piggyback plugs into the port on the horn and the wire for the horn plugs into the piggyback if that makes sense. I think it has to plug into the bikes OBD port too if I remember rightly. Let me know if that works!

Love that guy! He sent me an LED hat which has actually been really useful! Good luck! It's all pretty easy but the EzCan takes a little fiddling. Process of elimination with some of the circuits but it's fine once you understand which one is which!
