Hello, the ecu programming in the video is operated directly with Phoenix Smart fyi. You don't need j2534 passthru. And Phoenix Plus doesn't support online programming function.

Hi Hawkins The updates which appears, when you are doing this operation is that normally Continually updates? Why I'm asking, a lot of the VW and Audi group cars sometimes have problems and when they are diagnosed these problems they are told to read some specific TSB and in that TSB, they have to find a specific update to solve the problem, is that possible too?

Hi, The programming files will not be continuously updated. Generally, new files will be released when some defects in the vehicle are found to be repaired. TSB generally needs to find additional information

I believe that this job has to be a online job from OE site?

Hello Michael, the online coding and programming function will be limit in use if the update period expires. the update fee of Phoenix Smart for end user is $795 per year.

Yes, after replacing the new ECM, you will need to connect a regulated power supply. Afterward, you can proceed by using a diagnostic device to write the programming file to the new ECM. Once this process is completed, the replacement is successfully done.

Phoenix plus can't do programming only (pro, elite, smart, max & remote) can do programming for 14 brands and I think elite can do for 6 brands only.
