can you explain how to completely reset the SW900 back to factory settings. Mine is stuck with a 22MPH speed limit, can't get rid of it. Only thing left is to do a full factory reset, but can't find anyway to do that. Thanks

The SW900 controller watt read out has only 3 digits therefore will only read 999 watts and not suitable for e-bikes with higher wattage ratings. I have 1200 watt bike my SW900 reads fine until give it full throttle then reads 200 watts. I hope this won't hurt the SW900. Any comments would be appreciated.

i have a 48v 1000 watt hub motor using a 48v 13ah battery. on setting p14 would i have to limit it to 13amps since my battery is 13ah? they say you can damage ur controller if its too high

I entered that menu by pressing the 2 buttons simultaneously but I can't change anything, maximum speed, wheel diameter, etc. What to do? Is editing blocked?

Display doesn't have 52 v settings, should I put it on 60, or will it damage it?

Won't be damage it, my battery is 52volts but set does not have 52V, I put 48volts still full 100% long 75km, suppose put a small display meter volt and bar.

Would you know why in programing mode for the sw900 mine goes from p08 to p13. It just dosent have a p09, p10, p11 or p12. Just skips right over those. Thanks for any help

Can someone please tell me where to normally hook up the individual wires from a lcd3 to a 36v1000w controller on a 36v10ah batt? Im just waiting on the sensored hub motor to get here and I'm going to build a friction drive using 3phase motor skateboard wheel.

Also, do both controllers support limiting how much amps/power they draw? For example if I have a 1500w motor can I use the controller to limit how many amps it's drawing to save battery? Does one controller do this better? Thanks again

David Beecroft To me (if interchangeable) it seems to be a 'no contest,' the kt lcd3 supports regenerative braking called Ebrake setting here, and the sw900 doesn't seem to have that setting at all meaning a key feature of Direct Drive hubs is not being used!

I had the kt lcd3 on my first bike, now I've got the sw900 and I don't like it so much, mainly because you I can't turn the screen light off and can't display battery voltage. And the wattage is only displayed in 3 figures, kt lcd3 has 4,handy for more than 1000 Watts! I'm interested to see what other people think.

P11 PAS sensitivity. Range: 1-24 P12 PAS start strength. Range: 0-5 ....................................... CAN YOU TALK MORE ABOUT THESE SETTINGS ON THE SW900 DISPLAY, LIKE WHICH IS MORE AND WHAT IS LESS. MY P11 IS SET AT 24 AND P12 IS SET AT 5.. iT IS TAKING 30 FOOT BEFORE MY PAS KICKS IN.

dose this apply for a kit you bought in Pieces? Or is this totally Arbitrary then I noticed I only get 31.7Kph with my 38V pack is this typical for a DIY build? switching modes seemed to solve some of the problems. I suspect I am just switching setting modes labelled 0-5 with 0 giving me a 15Kph speed no PAS and 2 being 20Kph/Peddle assist... could only do so much propping it up on its kickstand. I am assuming 3-5 are Variations on 0-2 I was wondering why I keep seeing a static stand in the background all the time.... where you could sit on the bike and tune the computer on the controller my problem is every part was bought separately all I did was follow the printed data and buy parts that fit the motor Voltage and wattage. I did have the motor spin backwards the first time I cracked the Throttle. ( Programming green wire took care of that) this DIY thing must weigh like 120Lbs with the battery, motor and controller installed. I had to rework the disk brakes and put spacers in the back mounting bracket.... lots of work for 1 day. More Over "Is this pretty much the same for all controller computers?"

In my case only works with the throthle, if i plug the Pas sensor i have error 7. If i disconect it throtle works. I have checked and tryed in modes 0,1 and 2 (Pas,Throtle or both). Anyone knows whats wrong? Thank U

I have a voilamart ebike kit with this LCD but does not have the error 7. My concern is a different one which might be related to yours. Regardless P10 set to 0, 1, or 2, throttle still work. I check some forums and they said the same thing. endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=105464 I think it is the manufacture's intention or something. I almost crashed last time when assuming throttle is disable when P10 is 0.

I have a sw-900 I have error code 010 on the display caused from a friction in the hub motor, so I replaced bearings in hub housing, 3000watt . Is there any way to reset this as there is no go at the moment ?

If error 10, on your lcd cable, connect red and blue together. 😉

Are the SW900 and KTLCD3 interchangeable? I have a controller that I bought with my SW900. I am purchasing a new KT controller and would like to keep the SW900 if it will work.

I have the SW 900 for the bike I have recently put together it was working great untill after a few rides I started getting an Error 02 code...it’s to my understanding that is a break error code, I checked all connections and they seem fine. Any suggestions how to go about fixing that?

The error 02 code is simply telling you the switch to either one of the brake lever switches is open. You should be able to adjust the levers to cure this. You will then notice that each time to operate the brake levers the error code will display. This is normal. What's is not normal is if the code 02 remains after the levers are released. It may take a couple of times to set up. Mine did.

Another thing is regardless what you set for p10, throttle still work. I have this lcd and voilamart kit and it do that to me. Some other people say the same thing

If that is known issue and cant be fixed by them, i would say DIY a switch on the throttle signal wire so we can disable that manually. That is what i am gonna do
