The former is them still playing the game and feels similarly to explaining a rule, the latter is you saying "You're playing wrong let me do it."

well i think in this case its cause everyone is playing blackwings to some degree so they cant really hurt blackwings without hurting their own deck. for morphtronics only leah was playing them to it was easy to ban. ot at least that my assumed reason behind it. ofc there could just be no reason

I thought Joe was doing that play and was about to feel impressed, only for him to ram his own Shura in against a field of 3 backrows along with 2 cards in Leah's hand and i was like "???".

Brent could've had game way earlier. If he activated Sirocco's effect, targeting Blizzard which would make him 5000 ATK, and then attack into Dupe Frog which has 100 ATK, it would've done 4900 damage, which would kill Gavin as he was at 4700 LP.

I'm pretty sure that when Prideful Roar was used on Krebon, his ATK goes back to normal because it 'forgot' it had been halved. There's a lot of interactions like that.

@@Heckibrd Yu-gi-oh! is totally not a complicated game :p I don't think the Kalut Boost would have made Shura go back to pre-battle tune because it's a specific ammount that was ADDED. Prideful Roar makes the attack X+300, after which it should normally go back to its original ATK (barring continuous effects such as field or equip cards).

Lots of people saying Brent could have pumped Bora with Sirroco for game, but aKsHuLy Bora technically shouldn't have been allowed to flip up, since it already changed from defense to attack earlier that turn. 20:02 Yeah it could be overlooked as a missplay like usual, and maybe Im just misremembering battle position change rules, just wanted to throw it out there. Not sure if anyone mentioned it already, but if the blackwing monster gets flipped face down when its summoned, black whirlwind fails. Book of moon the blackwing summon was a very common out to black whirlwind back in the day. So book of eclipse is way more insane in this format than just being a way to not be kalut'd.

Game 1, Brent cheated. He switched Bora to Attack, then used Eclipse, then changed it back to attack. -Also doesn't Blizzard negate the effects of the monster it special summons? Shouldn't that turn off Bora's piercing?- Well either way he changed battle positions already in the turn.

For the Blizzard thing, you're incorrect, though that's one of the common mistakes people make with BW. Blizzard summons in defense, but doesn't negate the effects, Shura on the other hand summons in any position, but does negate the effects. As for the battle position thing, it's a minor thing and everyone knew what he wanted to do and would've let him just keep it in defense until after eclipse so he could flip it up, given they allowed similar stuff later.
