bifocal lenses have line which is divide distance vision to near vision, bifocal lenses are cheaper in price.
bifocal lens has no intermediate vision.
its has image jumping effect.
Progressive lenses has no line to divide distance vision to near vision, this is plane lens which has all three vision distance, intermediate and near. progressive lenses are more comfortable.
progressive lenses has distortion at nasal side and temporal side.

Mera maa ka eye operation hone k baad doctor ne glass pehn ne ko bola, toh test karke glass bifocal banaya galti se, maa ka vision thik hai door ka aur samne ka toh progressive lense banaye ya distance ka only?? Progressive is similar to bifocal i guess... Bifocal pehn hi nahi payi... Kya distance ka only banana sahi rahega? Age 60+

You have not clear it's distance power or for near only . If it is for distance you can make single vision glasses and if it is for near(presbyopic) go for progressive glass.

Mere just 1 week pehle progressive lens wale specs bane h, mujhe middle section vision ki bahut prob ho rahi h. Jaise kitchen me kaam karte time shelf jis angle par hoti h wo dhundhli dikhai deti h, agar apni chin bilkul neck se chipka kar means sir jhuka kar dekhu to clear dikhta h. Ye just ek ex h, bahut saari jagah par prob aa rahi h, balcony se niche dekhte time, walk karte hue seedha dekhne par etc mai kya karu? Shopkeeper to keh raha h aadat ho jayegi, par mujhe prob ho rahi h. Pls suggest.
