I have no explanation as to why (beyond the obvious), but this video brought IMMENSE joy to my heart. I think Brothers Green Eats/Pro Home Cooks is the channel I have watched for the longest. I got hooked as a young(ish) stoner watching the midnight snack hack videos and the budget meal videos. I envied the connection you two had as brothers and you were both probably my earliest true inspiration to get into the deeper side of food and what it means to humans. I am 30 now and have spent most of my adult life working in kitchens and exploring the wonderous world of food culture around the globe. To see you two back together, even if for a one off video, made me feel indescribable amounts of happiness. Something that is hard to come by these days. Much love to you both! Josh, I hope you love becoming a father as much as I did and I look forward to obsessing over your book in the near future. Hope to see more of you two together.

Little story. Before I joined the Army my family was in crazy poverty. We had so little food that when I went to basic training I actually gained weight since I had a steady supply of food. Josh had a series where he ate for a week with like 20$ or something. I followed that religiously for a bit (except for the banana in the fried rice😂). Glad to see him cooking with Mike again! As someone who started his cooking journey with your. "How to make X Fast food restaurants menu" videos. Its very wholesome to see you guys back together in front of the camera. And its amazing to see how you guys have not only grown in your culinary aspirations but also as people. Its still unbelievable to me that i was 16 when i started watching videos of two people just fooling around in their tiny NY kitchen half way around the globe. To you both having Familys and living your respective dreams. Best wishes to the both of you and your Familys. Also thanks for providing a great gateway into cooking. I through the years have stuck to your philosophy of "It doesnt matter what you have or how much of it you have, You can always figure out a way to make a great meal" and to me thats the most beautiful thing about cooking. If you just know enough about what you like and how to get there you can make anything into a great meal. I really could keep writing about how much you guys inspired me and how much it means to me but i guess this is enough for now. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you and i wish you very well. Funny enough, eventually I went into the restaurant industry and worked as a line cook for 6 years. Just wanna let you two know. I’m in my late 30’s and I remember watching you both for the first time almost 10 years ago. You both brought out a passion I had for cooking I knew I had deep inside but needed a teacher. To this day friends and family come over and talk about my cooking like I have some kind of innate instinct for it. It’s not true, you both were my teachers. Before that I was eating fast food daily living in my tiny apartment. Now I’m a home owner and ferment, bbq, and give my friends exactly what they’re missing. Thanks for everything. Ps. That ending was wholesome af. Bittersweet seeing you both together again but hopefully more on the future.

These two gentlemen really brought some joy to my life, while I was in the lowest place possible at that point in my life. I had no money and was up somewhere between midnight and 2AM, doom scrolling my sleep away and as hungry as the Cookie Monster. I found the 4 Ingredient College Cooking series, and marveled at how two college guys who were completely stoned out of the universe (lol, no judgement) could make such great quick and easy food and make it entertaining. The Brothers Green channel quickly became kind of an addiction, if I’m being honest. But y’all’s content helped keep me going when I probably shouldn’t have lasted much longer, and I lost it when the channel ended. I’m much better now, and to see you guys still cooking again, even if it’s for one last video, is such a joy to witness.

Of course there were lots of channels, but you guys made the biggest impact (I always say I learned to cook on youtube). I was living on my own for the first time in a college-type rental with a small kitchen, and I didn't know how to cook. I would get on the computer and search up Brothers Green Eats, and then get in the kitchen and figure it out. I felt like I could relate to you guys on some level. Really accessible and fun, yet absolutely legit cooking education. Years later I consider myself a "pro home cook," and I still watch every video. Cheers guys.
