Project 5: When I Hear Music (Documentary)

Project 5: When I Hear Music tells the powerful story of a 1980s Cleveland break dancing group and how hip-hop and break dancing united the youth from different backgrounds. Featured in the film is the group's founder Matt Zone, now a councilman in Cleveland, Ohio. The documentary includes archival footage from the 1980s and was released at the House of Blues in Cleveland during a reunion breakdancing show on August 11, 2012 featuring Project 5 and Grandmaster Flash. August 11, 2012 was also proclaimed “Project 5 Day” by Mayor Frank G. Jackson.
