Yes I have loved this series. I think this has been a really good way to declutter "responsibly" where you don't make rash decisions you regret and then rebuy as many back if not more. I would love to see you refine your other products if you want to do it I am here to watch it 💙

Holy shit that declutter number .. if a lippie is approx $18 that's a declutter of about 4k !! That's not meant to make you feel bad by the way .. It's just perspective. I am so glad we all took the smarter purchases pill a couple of years ago .. I know my collection is all the better for it. You have approached this in such a sensible manner.. I know lippies are your weakness... mine is bronzer .. Great job .. you basically split your collection in half .. ruthless ! love youse xx

Yeah it's not a cheap hobby to have haha. To put things in perspective though, these were lipsticks accumulated over the last decade, so spread out it's not that bad. Also many were sent in PR or bought on sale/in holiday packs, so it looks crazy, but it's not that bad haha.

Also, I have been on the decluttering my life train and it just feels so good ,, you did amzing here, especially since I know lips are yr thing. And at the end of the day, who cares about what we did yesterday, tomorrow is a new day.

Mine is bronzer too! I try to use up 2 a year if I can to shrink mu collection, but dang it's hard!

@@melissawoodward1328 I try to use up a couple a year as well .. I usually try and have a winter and a summer shade .. but to be honest ,, shh it's a secret .. I probably have about 20 bronzers LOL ..I just keep buying them. I can't even say why, because I have some that are kinda great, so I don't need to "find" a new one.. it's quite ridiculous. At least I have stopped the eye shadow train, that was out of control for a while :)

I loved this series, I even tried doing a similar project on my own. Looking forward to the swatch off part. I think testing other makeup, i.e. blushes, eyeliners would be interesting as well :)

Thanks! Yeah I might do one off videos of the other categories (like I did with foundations last year) but the problem is that I don't have nearly as much of any one category of makeup as I have lipsticks so they will only be one or two parter videos.

Wow! You have done amazing decluttering through this series. I love how you have done it with actually trying it and paying attention to formula, wear time, etc. You have been so detailed I was able to learn of products that I probably wouldn’t like because you explained them so well. Can’t wait to see the swatch off and maybe even more in the future rankings top formulas for nudes and reds. Sometimes it doesn’t wear the same between different shades. You also have inspired me to take a good look at my lip products.

Absolutely get the aversion the coconut scent! I have the same problem with pinappley tropical scents bc of some meds I was on for years as a kid, just can’t do it even though it’s been decades

I totally get the smell issue. For me it’s taste as well. Like I hate peanut butter because of the antibiotics I had to take when I was a tween. The doctor didn’t want to prescribe me a liquid antibiotic and instead gave me horse pills I couldn’t get down and had to crush. The doctor recommended I wrap the pill in peanut butter and chew. And since then, I cannot eat or smell peanut butter without wanting to gag since it’s a reminder of that horrible time.

I'm not going to lie, I skipped in this video and I am 3 and half videos behind with this playlist, but DO I LOVE IT VERY MUCH YES (I kind of save this content for superchill evenings of mine ^^ (rarity, lately). Your dedication and process of thoughtfulness has been very inspiring and I can't wait for the showdown of swatches! I'm also curious how you'll categorize them, my assumption would be it is absolutely fine to keep the same colour in liquid, matte, satin, stain, etc.... and the big decisions will come to xyz brand's satin shade vs xyzb satin's same shade - which brand performs better? *_*

I have thrown out or given away all the ones I have decluttered, so it will only be from the ones that I kept. I don't really see the point of comparing ones that I don't like anyway haha. It might not be all of the ones I have kept because some have made their way into jacket pockets and handbags etc, but it will be the majority of the ones I kept

It is Kester Black, it's the shade Coolaid that was a limited edition shade that isn't available on the Australian site anymore, but I think you can find it other stores that stock them. It is a pretty standard blue though... they describe it as a "blue nail polish" haha
