Race to glory at Le Mans past and present with the Project CARS 2 “Spirit of Le Mans” Pack. Fight the Battle of the Titans driving for Ferrari and Porsche on a painstakingly and faithfully recreated Le Sarthe Circuit as it was in the movie “Le Mans”. Race the V12 Ferrari 512 S and 512 M, and flat-12 Porsche 917 LH and relive the greatest sportscar era in history. Then fast-forward to now and fight for victory with four of today’s high-tech endurance heroes―the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, the Porsche 919 Hybrid, and two of Audi’s all-dominant racers, the high-grip Audi R18 (Fuji 2016) and high-speed Audi R18 (Le Mans 2016). Yesterday and today’s heroes, on the legendary Classic Circuit de la Sarthe: this is the “Spirit of Le Mans”.

Tbh, it was a hot mess when it released on PS4. Took them ages too fix the bugs.... It killed it for me (and i loved pc1)

Think it's the trade off for being more ambitious but missing the mark on somethings and being less ambitious and everything working. I mean in PC2 it's still a lottery to see the real setup on the car or a set up with 4 gears all having the exact same ratio for no reason?

+Thomas V. It was on pc as well.. Was a mess on launch and I refunded it. But a few patches in and after a lot of awesome classic cars in DLC's I just had to jump back on it, and now I really like it!

Fuck yeah , that 512 certainly tickled my pickel last night in VR ! At $10 its a steal especially when compared to say rF2 or iRacing DLC ! I mean 9 cars and a track for a 10er .

Is that a DirectDrive wheel you're using there? If so I have a challenge for you: Complete a time trial course on Dirt Rally in VR using a DirectDrive wheel set to 100% force feedback. Goodluck, you'll need it! xD

I find performance isn't anywhere near as good in PC2 compared to other sims in VR. What settings do people run with? I have a 1070 but an old CPU 2500@4.4 and 16GB

Andysonof Bob Actually Project Cars 2 has a more crisp image than Assetto Corsa and way more crisp than Raceroom Racing Experience to me . I have a GTX1070 and i7 6700k

Check out ZedZedski's 1070 settings video, i've found that works great for me.

I find the opposite , I get higher settings and constant 90 in pC2 compared to AC , rF2 or R3E . I have a 1080ti/7700k .

2ndLastJedi 1070 is more than capable of handling PC2. The problem is the CPU.

Man, this is awesome in VR but I just can't dial in the VR gfx settings to where I hold 90...and as awesome as low+ shadows are which are almost a must they instantly tanks fps. wtfbbq

Got an Oculus Rift a couple of weeks ago, got this game yesterday because it was on sale on Steam. Now I just need to make the decision whether to buy a new steering wheel or try and find a suitable adapter for my old one from the nineties that still uses a game port connector :)

glowplug007 ive got that problem with assetto corsa, not with PC2. You may have to change your FOV, ive set mine to 100/105 i believe, but i have an ultra wise monitor and other wise just look at them trees wizzing past ;)

Chris Wilson he was using Oculus Home 2.0 which gives you your PC desktop in VR !

Are the AI really that slow in PC2, or do you have the difficulty turned down? I can imagine them being stupidly easy to beat if you were actually trying.

I mean, he's clearly not paying much attention, and as such his driving is pretty bad, yet he's still easily passing everything. The AI obviously haven't got the ability to adjust their setup for the track, so their top speed is a joke, but he's also passing multiple cars into braking zones, as the AI hit the brakes about 100m before they need to. This would be pointless to actually do this race seriously, because after ten laps you'd have lapped every AI car easily...
