OK, you've convinced me to give it a go, but so far every custom FFB file i've tried where people are yelling that it's a game changer has not made that much of a difference to me. It's been more a case of these custom FFB files just add a bit of polish to the turd that is PC2's FFB. That said I'll still maintain an open mind.

TLDW: Move the appropriate file for your wheel into ...\Documents\Project Cars 2, backup ffb_custom_settings.txt, then move new ffb doc to the folder and rename it to ffb_custom_settings.txt. Took him almost 4 minutes to explain this.

Well, if you fancy the 917 at historical Le Mans, you can always also try the terrific mods by Apex (Porsche 917 and Ferrari 512) and the Woochoo's historic Lemans (all available on the Steamworkshop). If you use Reshade to tweak the graphics' colour balance: tone down vibrance & saturation and increase shadow contrast, it will look very similar to PC2 and, I am pretty sure, you will enjoy the driving.

Great video. I gonna try it. I have a question that's off topic to this video. I love pCars2 my biggest problem I have is with AI. Is there any mod ore fix that's makes AI better. Often times they don't notice you on track and drive strait in tou you on Side by side racing. Is there any mod or fix that's makes this behavior better. I would play a lot more PC 2 if it had better AI. I love the game but I can't have a nice race with AI. Really going head to head on track.

The amount of mods available for PCs make me almost wish I had a gaming pc. But it is what it is. Glad you enjoyed the 917 on classic LeMans. Great combination of car and track. How is the 917 on Spa or Hockenhiem? I might have to give it a run in between GT7 sessions

How does this custom file feel with a TMX/T150? Always struggled with PC2's lack of feel particularly on the rear.

@@18837ven I used the T300 standard file and lowered the FX to 35 and its amazing. I can actually feel what the car is doing now. I tend to run overall gain at 75 in the control pannel as well.

not that major of a difference for me (use default informative) bit stiff for my liking in the low speed. but yh when i say not a major difference not that it isnt different but that the difference doesnt affect my driving that much feel once you understand the ffb and what its trying to say you just want it to not affect your driving as much as possible and your not going to get that major of a difference from ffb file unless you buy a better wheel (logi boy) always hoping for some ffb where that clear moment when losing grip is very pronounced and can feel like it creeping up to limit but most of time you have a general feel that you havent hit limit and have to go faster but not how much you are off by def a bit better in high downforce tho so might swap between in high downforce cars

Never really enjoyed the feel of the physics in pCARS 2, as the actual driving just doesnt feel natural to me. I may be in the minority with this but i much prefer the physics in the original pCARS title. The actual driving just feels more natural and enjoyable. Pushing the cars to the limit and just over the limit and catching the slides feels great in the original game. The driving feels instantly natural, whereas in pCARS 2 it doesn't and takes me ages to start feeling in tune with the driving. Road cars feel crappy in the original pCARS though. And one thing i do love about pCARS 2 is the RX cars. They are fun to drive.
