I feel like this game is perfect for BlackPanthaa's audience, its aimed at people who enjoy going fast and car culture but aren't necessarily racers. That's not a bad thing, but I think SMS would have got much less hate if they made this a spin-off instead of a direct sequel.

I feel like it'd be better to drop the number from the game's title and instead give it some sort of a subtitle to differentiate it from the first two games, instead of calling it as a sequel to them. This game clearly doesn't aim to build upon what the previous games did, but instead aims to tackle an entirely different genre of racing games.

I have and love it so far as I’ve the digital deluxe edition (includes season pass)... idk why though the windows during post race have numerous white dots in it (I’m guessing it’ll be getting fixed in future patches... mine is version 1.02 and I got it fully installed 12 hours before it got unlocked for play)...

while the game seems fun, imho the graphics are really underwhelming. Lighting, texture, and anti-aliasing seem not great. This looks more like an early 2010s racer graphics wise. Additionally, I think that the UI is very reminiscent of mobile games.

The game handles well, it has good car sounds, good content and does things in a more accessible way which is different. Not bad, but different. But the console graphics really are a disgrace it's horrible. Sometimes the game will just pop up random barriers at the track were it was cut off or white blocks appear on the road textures. Driving with rain is the worst as the game transforms into a ps1 game, it's really bad and I don't get it because I know they can do it better. Project cars 1 and 2 are better looking on consoles while having the same engine, content and systems.

I love my arcade racers/car games and I'm new to the sim scene. Project Cars 2 is a perfect game to introduce you to sim racing and I personally liked it. I found it annoying the way they went about this. They could've done this numerous ways and I feel like its like Jimmy said it'll be a game that doesn't know what it wants to be

I’m exactly the same, Project CARS 2 was my first sim racer and I’ve enjoyed playing it on and off for the last few years. So when 3 came out it gave me similar confusion and I felt a bit annoyed cause 2 had potential that could’ve been built upon further into something amazing, but has now been ultimately wasted for a different game for a different audience. I might get Gran Turismo 7 soon and see what that’s like as a different take.
