Its gonna be atleast $6,000
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
It needs to be $3000-$4000 in my opinion. They don't have a scooter for this segment of the market and it's a large segment! That's just my input. I will not be the slightest bit interested for more than $4000 even if it is the best scooter on the market. But that's just me.
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
@@JohnJones-dg6lb That would be a big mistake IMO. I wouldn't even consider getting one at that price to be honest. They have a $6000 scooter. If they aren't selling enough of them, it's not because it's a bad scooter, it's just a very small segment of the market that is shopping for a $6000 scooter. If they drop the price of the Roadster to $4000 and price this one at $6000, I will suddenly become a fan of the Roadster, lol.

Me either I just ordered the Roadrunner rs5 Max and it came to $2,697.15 I would have gotten the inmotion rs lite I tried to cancel my order and they were gonna take 15% of the order that's almost $400 long story short if I knew it was gonna cost 3 grand I would of just gotten the rx7 I should see if they'll just let me upgrade to the rx7 and give them another grand but I really want the inmotion rs lite!!
@ElectricScooterGuyКүн бұрын
@@JohnJones-dg6lb I hate how scooter companies try to charge people for cancelling an order that you just placed. It's not like they have sent the scooter out already! Even if they have, you haven't evened opened the box yet. They should cancel it for you and offer 100% refund, period!
@15longway3 күн бұрын
They're talking about 84 or 96volts, im thinking 6-7.5k USD price range. That scoot looks sturdy. I love how they are asking the consumers for input before releasing
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
I saw that, but in this case, I think it's a bad idea to ask people what they want. People are going to be excited and tell them to max it out. At least the ones that are excited enough to respond. The problem is, they already have a 6K scooter, but not a 3-4k scooter. They will continue to miss out on that market which is a large segment of the scooter market. There are way more people willing to pay 3-4k than 6-7k, including me. 4k is the most I would pay for any scooter on any planet, lol. I don't care how fast it can go, how far it can go, how cool it looks, or how many bells and whistles it has. Hopefully there are some business minded people to keep overzealous designers in check! Maybe they should have different versions of the scooter, 72, 84, and 96....
@15longway2 күн бұрын
@ElectricScooterGuy totally agree 🎯. 3k is max for me though. I'll just get a used motorcycle, mt07 or cb650 going above 4k
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
@@15longway For sure! Hopefully the price is somewhat reasonable when they do release it, but considering they are still trying to get consumer feedback before finalizing the design makes me think that they may not make it in 2025, but I hope I am wrong.

Yeah I'm going to be curious to see if they actually released this model for sale and how much it sells for. I think it's a good idea for you to do a video about the customer service after the sale, I think that's really important since some of these things cost upwards of $4,000.
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
No question about it! no one wants to drop $4000 on a scooter only to have issues that they can not get addressed in a timely and courteous manner. I wouldn't pay more than $4000 for any scooter on the market, no matter how cool! There is no scooter worth that much money IMO. I am hoping $3000 - $4000 when it releases. I am not holding my breath though, for the release date or the price! 😂
@retroshaverdude66712 күн бұрын
@@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I agree, it was hard for me to pay almost $2,500 for my Nami with my military discount... I couldn't imagine paying more than that for something that will give me the same results and do what I need it to do.
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
@@retroshaverdude6671 That's not a bad price at all for the Burn-E! I have a hard time rationalizing paying much over $2000 myself. Especially when the $4000 ones seem to have the same problems, if not more. I am not saying I would never do it, but when I step back and really look at it, it's very difficult for me to validate spending that kind of money for one.
@retroshaverdude66712 күн бұрын
@ElectricScooterGuy Yeah I was actually going to get the Klima Max but I figured for $200-300 more I might as well just get the Burn E. The only reason to spend $4,000 for a scooter is if you want to go 65+ mph which is something I would probably never do on one of these things. The key is to get one of these models that has been out for at least a year with all the bugs worked out for about $1000 less than it was originally selling for.

@@retroshaverdude6671 Yeah, for sure! Those are the best deals. The new untested scooters bring the price down of the solidified ones!

Hey e scooter guy what are your thoughts on the Roadrunner rs5 Max and what upgrades or mods would you recommend I do to it. I just ordered one with a steering damper and I'm actually stunned it came to $2,697.15 with shipping when the inmotion rs lite is only $2,499 right now on sale. I can already tell the rs5 Max gonna need the upgraded 11" PMT B Stradale tires & more lighting any other recommendations to do to the rs5 Max if I don't cancel it asap and get the rs lite or the wolf warrior 11 pro+ for $2,500 😂😂
@ElectricScooterGuy2 күн бұрын
Are you ordering from outside the US? Shipping seems to be free on my end when I add it to the cart. I would have been surprised if it came out to over $2500 too considering it is on sale for $2199!! I think the scooter is a good price in that range though and I like the idea of putting PMTs on it for sure!
@JohnJones-dg6lb2 күн бұрын
@ElectricScooterGuy Nope I'm on the Eastcoast. I think the 2,199 price tag is before taxes cause I doubt it was the extended warranty but it did come with a phone holder, a handcuff style lock and $150 gift card to Roadrunner website for tires, batteries, fast chargers etc. Now I kind of wish I would of got the rs lite🤦♂️
@JohnJones-dg6lb2 күн бұрын
Yeah I was gonna just get the pro but I actually thought that the dampener and the LG 32ah battery came on the max until checkout I had to add it to my cart plus everyone's feedback on the pro all said they loved the scooter but they just regret not getting the Max's 32ah cause they were all pulling less than 20 miles from the pro's generic 23ah battery.

Reasons I could be impressed by a new scooter or it's company: 1. It arrives without shipping damage. 2. Sometimes related to #1 above. It seems well protected by packaging, ideally recyclable cardboard or paper, but if necessary, plastic or foam. 3. It's the right product (the model ordered). Preferably, obvious by the external packaging, so a consumer need not even open the final box to know it is. Reduced product returns is best for all parties. 4. It has product Instructions, and they are easy to read, clear, in English and all languages the product is for. Sometimes this means Instructions printed in a readable, size font. Maybe separating SAFETY points in Yellow or CAPITAL LETTERS or repeating them, and repeating them. 5. Product Instructions should be clear, and not assume the customer has knowledge or experience they may not. 6. The product should include all reasonable tools needed to assemble and use it, OR be clear from the start what is commonly needed. Included tools should be of reasonable quality, and not break on the first use! 7. Obvious errors a User could make should be clearly noted. If I could put it together wrong, I may. Duh. 8. All Product Support options should be listed, like support phone, email, and website FAQ or Live and/or Automated Chat on or through product ad and Instructions. Do not keep customers waiting for days for insufficient answers. And, when responding to a product support request, reference all related support replies, to increase support solutions. 9. Things break and wear out! Have replacement parts available on the day product is released to Reviewers. Repeat customers make a better product. 10. Give products names a consumer can easily understand or differentiate from others. Is it a 'Pro', 'Max', or 'V2'? 11. Don't 'play games' w/ pricing, such as a low product price, but unreasonably high shipping costs.

I side with Voro Motors, because i think it is wrong to echo complaints second hand. There are "many" people who complain about everything, and people seem to take the complaints of one or two people has being indicative of a systemic reality. People without problems rarely speak up. If a thousand people get good customer service and 20 people don't, the judgement will be they give bad customer service, which is wrong. There is no organization or business that doesn't have some un-happy users.

I was into scooters then the onyx and surron then finally I settled into EuC life. My second scooter I was ready to upgrade ordered and received from Voro and had the worst CS experience so I put less than 10 miles on the scooter and returned it. I might buy in person after an inspection of what i bought but not online with them ever again. They sent me a scooter with an easy to spot defect that made the ride dangerous. These companies are resellers, mostly a middleman. Service for out of state purchases is self service.

Thanks for the info! Do you mind sharing more about your experience with Voro? How long ago was this? Which scooter did you order? What was the issue? Yeah, it's interesting how they will allow random customers to service and repair their own scooters and still honor the warranty. It is really a sign of how valid the warranty is. They have to manage that somehow. Usually trying to fix your own device would automatically void the warranty. For good reason! You don't know the expertise of people working on their own scooters, LOL! Thanks again! 🙂
