So I'm a big fan of theory crafting and I have a few things to say about the build: - Doesn't block and defense counter your main aspect of the build? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you need to get hit in order to reflect the damage. - Why don't you sacrifice swap amulet for the sake of having iron golem from your metalgrid, you could get thorns aura from it to boost the reflected damage even more (or something else). [Edit] Actually you can unsummon the iron golem for the precast with +summon skills amu and get the item back to summon it again. - I'm not sure how bad would it be for the build to have mobs getting frozen by act 3 merc, but prayer aura one with silence (for the thorns) + heavenly garb (for the sanctuary) or azurewrath (sanctuary) + bramble (thorns) sounds nice. Alternatively you could go for act 2 merc with thorns and equip him with the new runeword purity (for the prayer) and heavenly garb (for the sanctuary), which I guess would be better for procing sanctuary aura on the mobs, since he fights in close range. - I suppose you don't want to have a zoo around to focus the mobs on you for the extra atd, but make sure to add 1 point into the solar creeper for the big synergy boost for your carrior vine and oak sage. Druid's summon skills benefit from soft points in terms of skill synergies, so with your currect setup it would give you like 40-80 extra healing on the vine and 240 hp regen on the oak. Pretty big numbers huh

Thanks for the detailed feedback and reply, let me clarifiy some points. -Attacker still takes damage even if you block the attack. -I tried (although not extensively) to run the iron golem but the gameplay style of running and no repositioning (tele) makes the golem die quite quickly. -Slowing down enemies in any capacity hurts the build, you need to let them close the distance and attack you. -Strongly feel that A4 is mandatory for hp recovery aspect of it. -Unsynergized Thorn is really bad adding less than a thousand damage to ATD (I tested a bit with silence runeword) - I am testing this right now offline and summons only benefit from hardpoints when it comes to synergies (unless tool tip shows the wrong thing)

@@beardrot9678 build is using spirit of barb yes, but thorn merc is very low damage. You are better off with a4 with all the healing and dmg he provides

I was thinkering with pala "attacker" takes damage build, had no clue -phys res stacks with attacker takes damage, also I would try this on HC, you think it could work ? idk if thorns is strong enough to justify + to skills on weapon or stone crusher
