Thank you so much John and thanks for checking it out!!! It was a solid project that took way longer and way more money than expected but with a lot of trial and error it did turn out as Id hoped. Had some great times with a best friend of mine working on it in the garage, that’s for sure.

As far as electronics go, are these bikes pretty simple?
@TheChapMX3 жыл бұрын
They can be simple or complicated depending on how far you want to go. Just to do a stripped down, barebones homemade harness it’s not too bad. I tried to make one out of the original harness but that was more complicated than it was worth. I’d definitely recommend doing the permanent magnet alternator, electronic ignition, and just a capacitor vs a battery. There are lots of drawn up wiring diagrams online that you can use. Hope that helps!

@@TheChapMX what are the advantages of the permanent magneto alternator?

Where did you get the rear fender?

Hey Travis, a guy named Joe Cooper of Cooper Smithing Co. handmade it for me to the specs I wanted. It was seriously a perfect fit. He did an awesome job. Get in touch with him at joe@coopersmithingco.com Coopersmithingco.com Thanks!
