1st batch RE are always a mess, I own a 1st batch interceptor, so I can relate, had electrical issues since day 3. Won't buy anymore RE. I owned a duke before, that too 1st batch. Experience was far better, although I did face few issues.very few. But I am sure IL wait for atleast 3 to 4 month before I pick any new bike , mostly itl be the new rally 390 currently under development.

Let me change tyres and ride it first because I don't remember properly now how the stock road-oriented tyres feel on the KTM or the XPulse. Been long since I rode on road tyres.

Hmm.. It would be interesting to know the weight of the different parts you have demounted.. I see you haven't adressed the stamped steel parts that hold the headlight/instument/windshield kluster yet.. making a design in carbon fiber for that should save a fair bit of weight up high on the bike..🤔

@@abhinavbhatt I wonder how many are thinking about creating a lighter fuel tank btw..🤔 Steel tanks have many positive properties, & Indians apparently love them, but being light weight is not one of those properties.. A platic tank with a carbon fiber outer shell ought to save a fair bit of weight, also potentially allow for more fuelcapacity, at a lower/more centralized position on the bike.. While more fuelcapacity might be something one would seldom need, having the extra capacity wouldn't hurt..🤔

Hey man i actually am interested in buying the Himalyan 450 because it is very comfortable for my height (I'm 6'4) and I've taken the test ride and I felt amazing. But now I'm hearing that there will be a Himalyan 650 and Himalyan 450 Raid but it's gonna take a lot of time to first come into the market and then run for a bit, and all these prototypes that you have in this bike. I really want to take the best and with so many upcoming things in the Himalyan I'm hesitant to take, but i don't have the patience to wait 1 or 2 years as well. What do you suggest shall I wait? Or shall I go for it (hoping nothing way cooler comes right after I take it).

Yes. Quite easy to flat foot. My 5'7 friends did not complain once and were refusing to believe the seat height is 859 mm.
