If you are planning to keep the car long term, I would start with the underside , check rear sub frame and mounting brackets. when you remove the seats lift carpets to check floor pans. what is you budget for the planned work?

Unfortunately the rot will come back after a few Months. The only cure is to cut it out and replace with metal

Manual swap isn’t that straightforward because of the electronics. it’ll go in limp mode if not proper. And any issue - check the battery

Instant power = new exhaust, keep centre silencer but get upgraded over axle section. From factory they’re squeezed and lose power. Please think about a sensible wing. What you said sounded hideous.
