Do you know if the secondary timing tensioners have been done? Check with the previous owners but I'd highly recommend fixing those. Easy to do and for peace of mind as it is an interference engine meaning the secondary timing chain tensioners if the plastic ones can fail causing the chain to skip teeth on the cam gear and permanently damage your engine. Basically the timing is off and the piston pushes into the valves and the engine is toast. Other than that they're fairly reliable cars but usual issues are rust and fighting general maintenance but a great car to work on. Keep it going and hope to see this on the road 👍
