Just watched this video, no idea how it came up on my suggestions, mind. But now subscribed. (I live around 70 miles away from the nearest canal - the Ripon Canal/River Ure - but am sorely tempted to dip my toe in the water, metaphorically).

Boating is a fascinating adventure - but it is hard work. I'd always say give it a go. Hopefully I'm portraying it realistically and not all show bizz'ed up!

I also thought MK was lovely. Peaceful - loads of moorings. Annoying it doesn’t get any closer to John Lewis but can’t have it all. Are you heading further south - we’re not far from each other now! Hope you sort the prop

Hi James, I think where I ended up was about as close as you can get to the town proper, it's interesting how they nestled the town in the bit of canal that arcs around, must be a geography thing. I'm on my way to Berko, albeit slowly!
