Have to say the engine compartment of Neighbor is a beautiful sight, that engine with the big DOHC heads and that blower just look perfect. What a power plant.

This may not be the same for neighbor but in my vic to turn off that overhead interior light you have to adjust the cluster dimmer wheel under the headlight switch untill the interior light turns off. For some reason after about halfway on the wheel it stops increasing cluster lighting and just turns on the interior light. Hope that helps! Love seeing the progress on this build! definately doing it for Ed, those were some glorious clouds!

Wheel hop in high power solid axle cars, is sometimes from small amounts of axle wrap. This is easy to check for nowadays, take a go pro camera and mount it in the axel well, pointed at the leaf spring, and set it to record in slow motion … then go do whatever makes the wheels hop, and see what happens. Don't forget to post the results on KZbin.. :)

Karpo1986 engine masters has dyno proven that dented bashed in headers only effects under 1 hp. Thats probably what hes trying to say. But a muffler is worth about 3-4 hp. H pipe vs x pipe, its true that a x pipe has better crossover and sometimes flow depending on how an h pipe ls made but it'll only clean the sound up more than an H pipe

One last thing. Get a couple flow master 70 series mufflers for your car. I have one on my GMC truck and it sounds nice and peaceful. I used to have a 40 series on it and it was just obnoxiously loud. If you look em up, the 70 series is supposed to be like best flowing and quiet muffler for performance and sound.

Honestly, from having a number of these myself, I'd say basically normal plumbing, in 2.5 inch pipe with dynomax mufflers of all things. they aren't obnoxious under power, and at an idle they just rumble. The additional length of the car vs a Mustang will tone things down a bit, but losing the cats will bring it up some. Really can't wait to hear Neighbor when she's finished!

I bet neighbor will have almost NO traction at the track. I have the exact same tires but wider (NITTO 555 G2 295/30/19) on my 400hp G8. They barely have traction on a launch. Neighbor has twice has much HP and torque. I bet bad tire spin on launch and at every shift.

Tire spin is also the fault of the rpm you launch at and how quickly you press the gas pedal down (press it down too fast and you will spin)
