Christ give me a break… seven years on and everyone with a KZbin channel picks this car apart… I have owned three of these and currently own a 2020 GT350R ford did an incredible job with this car. Do the math, 5.2 liters 526 hp brakes for miles, tires that stick for days and… and a American made sports car with a 8250 RPM factory limit… Bang for the buck, no manufacturer can touch it… If you want gobbs of torque and straight line power, DON’T buy this car. It was not designed for a drag strip, it was not designed to compete head-on with the Demon. It was specifically designed for the track, to take on GT3’s, BMW and Ferrari. I have driven the GT350R at the Ford Performance track and a multitude of SCCA events. I’m have experienced the car at it’s peak and intended performance, and for $70k dollars, it’s beyond impressive. Owners adding superchargers to this amazing naturally aspirated motor, have no clue what they already have… If you want a supercharged Shelby, buy a GT500…
@dahe88832 жыл бұрын
I have the same thoughts, I’ll add that I have had zero problems and oil consumption has been minimal. I hear the downside of owning this car is the engine, from all the KZbinrs. They never talk about the statistical probability of having a problem, which is minute.

Hi Juan. To keep it very simple, the Voodoo engine in the GT350 is 5.2L versus the standard GT's 5.0L and is capable of a bit more RPM as well. They make more power in stock form due to the attributes and a few other things as well.

So price wise what's the difference between this and a gen 5 Whipple or even a gen 3 Whipple... looks alot like it.. reason I ask is a have a roush tvs on my 16 maxed out but I'm thinking of trading it for a 350 or a 16 AMG E63s which with a tune will smoke the 350 with this blower,.. what makes the Odin better then the Whipple
@VMPPerformanceTV3 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, thanks for commenting! We're big fans of the TVS rotor set and how it behaves on tip in. Obviously, we're a bit biased though. You'll find that our superchargers come on early and have a healthy "hit" that makes for a broad and fairly flat torque curve that pairs well with Coyote and Voodoo engines that in naturally aspirated form are relatively soft down low. As for comparatively pricing, our Odin kit comes in at $8499 as a complete kit ready to be installed by you or the shop of your choice. We even include a complementary tune with the kit purchase. You'll just need a tuning device applicable to the specific car and any related credits needed to license it. Feel free to drop us an email, give us a call at the shop, or DM us directly on Facebook/Instagram. We'd be happy to discuss your goals and answer any questions you may have.

@midnight3473 жыл бұрын
I doubt the coyote is gonna do better on hp than the 350 with everything else being equal the 350 has better cams and heads, little more displacement and can turn more rpm easier no reason why the 350 won't always make more power lbs for lbs with everything else being equal (like pulley size, fuel and other supporting mods)

@jusplayn20003 жыл бұрын
Oh I just seen you said 10 or 11 lbs
@VMPPerformanceTV3 жыл бұрын
Boost is directly correlated to RPM/engine speed. A little larger pulley still sees a healthy peak boost pressure in conjunction with the amount of RPM the Voodoo turns.
@midnight3473 жыл бұрын
It has 12:1 same as 18 up coyotes and more than pre 18 coyotes it also turns a decent bit more rpm than the coyote which requires a more conservative pulley. I mean its over 700 to the tire on 10 psi or so and pump gas with a completely stock car otherwise. Headers, full 3 inch exhaust and a fuel system with e and some more boost and this thing could be making some bigtime power prob 850-900

@@asia23425 the best I can explain it is in my push rod 4.0 Jeep if you gave it more throttle and loaded more torque into it than it was ready for or were in too high of gear… you could hear the valves rattle from the mild knock you just created. Whipple 3.0 is better blower over the tvs.
@midnight3473 жыл бұрын
Here he is guys the tvs hater has came out again lol. You just don't quit do ya? Why do you hate the tvs blowers so much? You just can't stand that the twin screw isn't the big king daddy on the block anymore and the Eaton based tvs blowers are giving them all they can handle and then some. I don't think anything short of a max effort all the boost e85 setup would see much if any power gains going with a 3 liter over this and even then it wouldn't be by much. The odin makes more torque down low and has a better power curve. On a setup like this on pump gas you won't see any benefits going with the 3 liter over the odin. Stop being such a hater and just appreciate the leaps and bounds improvements the Eaton based tvs blowers have seen over the years. Every tvs video you're on there talkin bout how the twin screws are better and blah blah blah on and on and on. They're so much better yet even with a significant displacement advantage can barely best the tvs blowers and its usually only on max effort all the boost setups (which this is not). Not everyone is tryin to build a max effort 1200 rwhp car...but even if you are the odin is capable of taking you there too if you throw everything at it with a built engine and everything else which would also be required with the whipple or kbs too. I don't get why you hate on the tvs blowers so much but since you're a kb blower guy (I know from your other countless hating ass comments) you resent the fact that the much smaller displacement tvs blowers come close to matching or exceeding your much larger kb blower and it makes you butthurt so you hate on the tvs on almost every video that shows them. That is pretty sad. Smh
