Pat’s wisdom seems to come from his ability to think objectively and look at situations from everyone’s perspective. That helps you understand what the implications of your actions are and how that individual may perceive your actions. Makes you humble bc everyone is capable of EVERYTHING. Great interview Pat.

He is absolutely right about Memphis. I was born and lived there most of my life. You have to stay out the way especially being a dude because to much back handed stuff be going on and dudes don't trust easily. Memphis is a good city and the vibes and the food and the Riverfront is very nice downtown. Memphis made me more aware about what is out here when or if I am in these streets of life. The lifestyle is different then most cities and you will learn there real quick about what is and what ain't. When I move I had to let my inner dog down lol I have calm down but still stay alert. Pat's 'mixing dudes' comment reminds me of the time I learned from a secret service agent that some male bomb sniffing dogs can't be within sight of each other because they're going to clash and it's best to keep them at a safe distance from one another.

St. Louis (Da Lou) and Memphis share a simular darkness but Memphis does still has some sense of southern hospitality in its people while majority of STL is full of haters.. Even the racism you encounter there is on a whole nother level..

Like fall time in Memphis can be spooky. It be cold, rainy, and birds be migrating. And i tell folks that I dont like when the sun is shining and I sound so f'd up when i say that.
