Stability Control Failure? Yes I had that! The TRW ABS unit has a flawed circuit board that doesn't like extreme heat so the solder cracks and you get lose connections. You can take off the unit, cut it open, and try to fix it yourself. Or you can buy a new ABS module which is beaucoup bucks. The option I chose was to have my ABS Remanufactured. They clean the circuit board, test it, solder out the flaws, and recoat the board. That came with a Lifetime Warranty. Also didn't need a Tech II for that. Cost was about $390 including shipping. Took off ABS in am. Mailed that day. They received, reman'd, and mailed back next day. Got it in return mail and installed it on day 3. 😁 Just be aware the short in the ABS will cause other issues: drained battery, ignition won't engage, A/C cuts off . . . 😢

Hi Folks!!! Currently running a Maptun Stage 1 on my 2007 B207R Aero auto with a Maptun panel air filter, and I've had the eSID showing 291bhp ( I forget the torque figure). How accurate do you think this is? Next steps are to get a new stainless steel exhaust, DO88 intercooler ( and radiator whilst the front is off), and then go for a Stage 2 or 3 remap. What sort of bhp and torque figures could I expect? Love the videos...

@chilidogcats4 жыл бұрын
First thing to do is get a bottle of Fuel Injector Cleaner and add it to you gas tank. If code doesn't go away after injectors are cleaned then suss out what else may be the issue. I was getting a P0089 and P0198, so I got a new Fuel Pressure sensor and then a gas cap. Still had the codes. Ran Fuel Injector Cleaner and after just half a tank burned, the codes have gone away. At least I now have a couple of new parts, but I could have saved some $$ by doing injector cleaner first.🤦♀️
