The level of detail on this is mind blowing. As much as I love my FDM printer I kind of want a resin one just to make this model. You sir are an artist, leaps ahead of what most people can offer, even the professional companies!

Thank you for the wonderful comment. FDM is great for the big hull parts and resin is better for the smaller items. They both have strengths and weaknesses. At one stage I was going to sell my UM2 that would have been a mistake, now I appreciate it more.🙂

Man I remember when you started with the Gambody Slave one printed model, And then you just took it to a whole other level modeling your own version, this is quite an accomplishment!

What a master piece! Just brilliant work you did here. So well thought out,the design of the built in itself,the perfection of the parts.Making it look like the actual Slave 1! Amazing. Wow...I want some of those storage chests you have in the garage! I have a pile of ammo cans, mostly 20mm but also some .50BMG I use for various things. Including, unsurprisingly, ammo storage. I have been slowly stocking up my supply of resin for when you release the files! Between this and a Millennium Falcon, I should have a couple years of labor. LOL I may make both slightly smaller. I LOOOVE the big size, but may just be impractical for display. Would be nice to set up a chase between the two. Just need to get the scale right for both.

It is a big beast but I'm mounting mine on a stand which is 18 inches square so it doesn't take up too much real estate. Total height on the stand will be about 32 inches. To big to fit in even my storage boxes though... 😁

I normally try and upload a 10 minute + vid every month. Not always possible as sometimes life gets in the way! As you know a lot goes into a vid and they take ages to setup, film, voice and edit. If you can, don't use a 9 volt battery, use a very small lithium ion, one instead. It's rechargeble and can be connected to the other circuit(s) for charging. U can use a bluetooth controller for managing this cicuits per example with your phone or a Playstation Controller. Without the need to disassemble the whole model. Maybe u'll think obout the idea to scale your model up 1 or 2 sizes.
