Decided to make the next Project Zomboid playthrough a revisit of the 28 Days Later challenge with sprinting zombies from several years ago. Unfortunately my survivors despawned in the last playthrough, so I won't get to continue the super survivors, but this is definitely one difficult enough and well worth the play.

Hey guys! Sorry for the weird camera jitter here. Been messing with my OBS sources since I have been streaming more on Twitch and it seems that happens sometimes. Though I don't think it messed up too much of the recording. Tried a longer one with a bit more on an "in the weeds" look at my character's doings since a lot of people seem to enjoy seeing the details of play and it keeps it fresh for me. Open to any feedback/suggestions though, and thanks a lot to anyone who left tips and tricks in the last video - learned a lot from you fine folks!

@@ambiguousamphibian I did that once and my dad caught me up at 5am scrubbing 2 inches of dried tar from the bottom of a pot that used to be full of lovely delicious sauce covered ham :(. He just laughed and went to work, the pot was fine despite what I did to the poor thing.

They spread, but their yield drops noticeably. The berries get small and sorta feral, so generally, you need to keep their shoots trimmed.

@@ambiguousamphibian Oh hey! BTW, it sounds like you're in close communications with Atox, so it might be worth asking him if he coded in foraging zones. If not, the foraging fix mod on the workshop (creatively named "Foraging Fix") will solve your problem. Just promise yourself that you won't forage from, like... the 3rd story of an apartment building.

Weapon Multi Hit is a setting that allows you to hit multiple zombies. I highly suggest you turn it on, it allows you to fight many zombies at once, but there is still a risk one will grab and bite you so I think it's fair

Tried this run but with high amount of undead urban focused and all sprinters, decomposition and weaken is a on. Got a headstart at the police station, manage to got some undead followers, lost most of them by doing some parkour through houses manage to get to a school with some survivors in it, baricaded the door with a table crafted a spear and manage to kill of stragglers that have broken in, the spear is surprisingly effective to the point that I can time it right to kill them while they ran towards me, spent nine days enhancing indoor skills (carpentry, cooking, and spearing) inside the clinic while the npc survivor barricaded the whole school, after that I was surprise that some of them started walking instead. I never got out of rosewood yet because of a horde blocking my destination because I need to settle a permanent shelter up north and I'm pretty sure the school would be hard to defend from raiders due to that many openings but I'm also tempted to Redo the run and remove decomposition if runners became walkers which tooks the fun out of what I made.

Finds a big mansion almost completely surrounded by metal fences, has the means to completely wall it off with minimal effort. Has a giant field of crops right behind said mansion. Has room to farm within the walls of said mansion should they choose to. Immediately leaves. Settles for a single level home with broken windows that has far less protection that said mansion. Seems to be common for KZbinrs playing this game to make decisions that make no sense.

Personally, I have been checking all the doors on cars and I've never found a single unlocked door... sometimes the trunk is unlocked for me, though. Even found a key in the trunk, once.

Your character looks like Chuck Norris so you're fine, if a zombie bites you, it'll kill the zombie. I have a tactic with doors but you gonna find it crazy, get your back to the door (sounds already crazy right?) then open the door and walk forward, or run if you prefer Something else which worked before build41 was to quickly open/close the door so only 1 can get through and you can fight it but if you let 2 pass you're fucked. "3 takes a tactical genius to figure it out" well I guess I'm a genius then, so here's the tactic, you have 3 zombies chasing you, just walk and wait for 2 of them to stop after they tried to grab you then quickly enter attack mode to turn around and hit one zombie once then quickly disengage attack mode to walk again and be out of their range. If you think it's bullshit then check my Hit and Walk video
