Unfortunately my survivors despawned in the last playthrough, so I won't get to continue the super survivors, but this is definitely one difficult enough and well worth the play.

I love that they put black and white TVs in the game. People definitely still had them! We didn't have a color TV until 1985. But our big old B&W Magnavox console got great reception. In fact, you could pick up scrambled UHF channels after midnight. People over 40 will know what I mean :D

Why do you never look in the freezer section of fridges? Ice cream is great when you have taken a very under weight trait. If you break into a car you can open the boot via the dash controls.

I'm pretty sure the "half house half museum" is a house museum! These are historical houses which are preserved in their original state. People can go on tours of them. I"m pretty sure that's why there isn't a single TV in it either.

It's cool to finally see a KZbinr having the balls to play with sprinters, but you need more of them :) you can deal with 3, open and close the door quickly to let 1 or 2 get in and kill them then kill the last one, or use a window Also you can be fine by just walking, they won't stop you right away, it's hard to believe I know that's why I made a video about it

So you kinda opened a new avenue of games to my gaming list.. i never played these kind of games, but after watching your videos for a while i started playing Keshi. After that was looking at Rimworld videos while checking out kenshi. Now i think might try zomboid also. Usually it was a turn off to try these games only because of the graphics, but by listening and not seeing whats going on on the screen I realized that these games have a lot of depth and actually are really interesting. ye thanks for opening my eyes :D

Thanks for the good suggestions Luke! I'm not totally sure on the ambulence spawns tbh, though I think a few are configured to specific locales, as one might expect. For me, it's pretty random so you could say I got lucky there :p And I'll def consider that as a possibility. Really got a lot of ideas cooking for once MP hits, so it's a possibility!

just saying, you shouldn't place the sheet rope before going to bed especially with that base layout, it's litterally the first thing they come across if they come to you in the middle of the night. They'll just destroy it and you'll be stuck on the roof once they reach your door lol

That's definitely a fair point - sometimes they get attracted to player built constructions too, it seems. Maybe now that second story window jumping is less deadly it's a more viable alternative?

@@ambiguousamphibian Just keep the rope and nail ready in your inventory and open the window before going to sleep, unless you take Restless Sleeper and/or Sleepyhead you should be waking up when they start knocking at the door. Usually it's enough time to place the rope and jump down, that way i avoid having a welcoming party just down the window and i get to use it instead waking up, realizing they destroyed the rope before i wake up, and jumping down without it in despair. Last thing i'd want is a broken leg against sprinters xD

I had this one thing happen with super survivors There was a survivor with a bat and a survivor with a gun and I spawned in front of a wood mill and the survivor with the gun was running around the middle shooting zombies as I killed the one with a bat cuz she was trying to kill me. Found a survivor huddled up in his house totally barricaded up so I made his house my base days went by and this man with a gun just kept letting off shot after shot day after day until I finally went to check out what happened cuz the shots stopped the ENTIRE wood mill was filled from one side to the other with zombies and I freaked the hell out I do still have the screenshots of the mill Edit: the survivor who died his name was NEGAN and *I FLIPPED MY SHIT*

Really enjoyable video, very well done. I just wanted to know why you spent so little points when setting up your survivor, couldn't you get a few more negative traits and add a few very reliable positive ones? Like adding Cat Eyes and THICK skin, bad traits like Hemophobic (panic when bandaging) and Hypochondriac (may develop infection symptoms without being infected) have little to no negative impact, High Thirst do have a noticeable impact on the game once you run out of tap water but it gives 6 extra points. I think that adding a few quality of life traits would be nice for the series, being able to properly see in the dark and quickly moving items would make the gameplay much more fluid.
