How we launched without an engine - Project Brupeg Ep.326

In part two, we take you back through the last two days of the prep for launch, right up to her release into the wild (ish).
It was a chaotic and busy two days, and it all happened faster than we expected. The team is having a little rest before duncan arrives for another intensive week of work to get the Cummins 855 started. Then we are onto the final in water engine alignment, chock fast 2.0 and hopefully sea trials to follow shortly afterwards.
Thank you to everyone that helped get us here and for the team that helped during the two days of launches Duncan, Julie, Tom, Trev, Tony, Brent, Bruce, the yard team and the awesome Patrick in his Red Tug Solonika.

The more cooling pipes, the biggest pain in the ass it is to apply multiple coats of anything!Our tug in Boston has 10 pipes 15 ft.long and a beast to paint!

Great launch in bundaberg. Everyone is happy about that. Eventually you will be on a moaring as they are cheaper. Chained to seabed. Least used items stored away, list of where things are. Well organised engine room for sea trials. Winch saved backs & photography is always superb.

Our family USA hillbillies, we are known for making do with what we have. For about 3 months we had close to 600 feet of black garden hose run between cleats draped over the side so the sun would warm the water a little for showers. You had to be carefull sometimes it was to hot. We got by until our waterheater was done.
