The writing in Futurama is perfection...was a shame they kept getting canceled. The characters were each so fun!

Personally, I'm down for the frequent cancellations. It keeps the show from outstaying its welcome, like other animated sitcoms. So that each time it comes back, the writers are likely refreshed, and had time to come up with new ideas that weren't being forced through just for the sake of meeting that constant demand for new episodes every year.

It's a shame they couldn't get John Goodman to replay the role of Santa, but the regular guy here fit the bill quite well. And we still got Kwanzaabot! RIP Coolio
