How to resolve a Trailer Hitch Height that equals Zero

So…why not just turn the slide upside down and mount the ball. Same affect…no? Or why not buy a zero drop slide? Is there a reason for the route you took? Weight displacement on certain strained places? I’d like to know since it appears my theories would put the resting trailer in roughly the same height

Oh yeah and…my 20 ft Xpress bay boat single axle trailer is near even before mounting to truck but just a hair low attached and it tows beautifully behind my F150 supercrew…any advice?
