This exercise will teach you how to exaggerate a person’s face and body using common animals and objects. These are things that usually have an uncanny resemblance to your subject and are meant for people that already make good caricature subjects. Artists are awesome observers, specially caricaturists. As a young student I remember that everybody in the class had a nickname related to an animal, due the student resemblance with it , not even teachers escaped (we were careful enough not to breath a word about it), so my school was turned into something like an animal farm or zoo. Very disrespectful, but seemed funny then!

That's awesome! I think a chihuahua would work great too for Snoop. We all see our subjects a little differently, which is what's fascinating about caricature. Originally, I was thinking of using an Italian Greyhound for Snoop's spirit animal. But for the purposes of this lesson, I didn't want to go for the obvious choice on and use an actual dog for Snoop Dogg.

No offense, I love this channel and this video is great and all but I really miss the basic anatomy videos. We’ve been on hands for about 3or 4 months now and it’s starting to become annoying seeing multiple caricature videos pop up on my feed. I’m just sayin, balance out these uploads with more basic anatomy vids so it won’t feel like just a caricature channel. Hopefully some subscribers won’t leave because they’re not seeing the right content from their favorite KZbin channel.

+John Doe I’m not trying to be disrespectful or anything of that nature, I’ve been watching Proko videos since the robo bean video and his teachings has been a major influence on my art. But to be honest, due to the nature KZbin’s algorithm if a subscriber doesn’t watch the contents of a particular channel because he/she feels it’s not interesting, it will either result in the contents of that particular channel to disappear from the subscribers feed or the subscriber will choose to unsubscribe. Also, he's not taking the phrase spirit animal from indigenous people. It literally means the spirit of an animal that someones character evokes. It's not an abstract term.
