@@1KosovoJeSrbija1 your thinking of the Vivarian Dragoons from the Guants Ghosts series. They wear black scaled armor from head to toe. They are some of my favorite obscure Guardsmen along with the Tanith. Although the Tanith finally got models so they are not obscure anymore.

Well done! I am making my way through all your compilations. Was that Mrs. B's voice talent? This story line had soo many goodies and incorporated so many chapters! I hadn't realized that the Sororitas story crossed over into the Catachan story! I'll tell you something, when I become engrossed in a film or a good programme I become...carried along by the story and don't always catch details because I'm watching it unfold (a very good sign). Conversely, if I'm distracted beyond a plot or thinking too critically about details from within a story unless cued narratively it's a bad sign to me. What I'm alluding to is that virtually every episode, (please note they aren't merely videos to me, I may slip and refer to them as such but its not a slight) I escape into a world you bring to life. Your reading voice alone harkens back to classic radio programmes, add in audio effects, spot on music, cameo appearances by talented contributors, and then pile on engaging images it is truly an experience. What makes it all the more impressive, to my knowledge you don't have a background in entertainment or a long history producing content. I am perhaps assuming a bit much here, but I assume your family operation is not...backed by any deep pockets? You built it from the ground up as I have gathered, as a venue to express your passions for the hobby. It is that sincere passion (charm) that comes across in your narration and the persona you've established. It's that genuine quality that has made you not merely popular but after skimming the comments section one can safely say...beloved. Once again, your first episode about the Sororitas is directly responsible for lighting my imagination about the chapter, and I stand by my statement it is one of the best works of short fiction I've heard in some time. (Not to detract from the Catachan story either, I found myself pulled along into the narrator's ever encompassing madness! A 40K homage to a classic horror short story I would say.) My best wishes for you, your family, and continued success with your channel and any other endeavors you may have percolating. I also truly appreciate the time you take to respond to comments. I know as you become more busy with the channel that may fall away, but for right now it is exciting and endearing. Be well, sir.

Thank you for all of your kindness brother Martin. You are utterly correct, I had no experience, no resources and burned my only savings trying to make this work out. I just wanted to entertain and get newer players an easier ride into this juggernaut of s setting. It tells, in that I feel I have improved a LOT since my earliest videos. They were awful. Lol. But I have worked hard. Listened to everyone. Hard sometimes, but god did I need the guidance. I wake each morning with a hope of creating a tale that will ease people out of their stress just for a little while. So I hope they can then continue their hard work and survive a very stressful time to be a human. Very. So thank you for seeing the effort and hard graft. It’s a very steep learning curve and I feel we are still nowhere near where I want it to be. But I will try every day to improve, every week, every month. They may not seem like huge changes from the outside, but I think when added up that everyone can see - I just want them to relax and have some fun. And I will do everything I. My limited powers to make that happen. ;)

Quick takes: 1)You're too hard on yourself. 2)If you do listen to the fans, then please allow some of that genuine Love for you get through to your head and your heart. It doesn't have to corrupt or distract you. If you're giving love out, it's literally a natural law that it will come back...mate(felt compelled to use that there, no offense). (It's weird in my mind when I hear you, I "think more British" (as I perceive it), I don't know if you get that way about other nationalities) 3)If I can discern some improvements, its perceptible and I want to give you genuine positive feedback. You already have THE premier 40K lore channel, I have yet to stumble over a better one. 4)I get it, you don't want to rest on your laurels and you are very passionate about what you are doing. Believe me it comes though in waves of positive energy to the listener. Right now I think you see this work as a blessing both to you and others, and it is! I would hate to have something you love become a burden to you, either through the callousness of others or your internal dialogue/task master/critic. Far too many people online are quick to give negative comments or "constructive criticism" with a dash of hurtful shade. I want you to be bolstered, never feel disheartened by others and I promise I'm not trying to falsely prop you up either! 4)Promise me this, you'll only allow your internal dialogue to be as civil (even kind) as you are to others. It's taken me a lifetime to figure this one out. Whether it's criticism, motivation, of Emperor forbid:) giving yourself credit where it is due! I could go on. I care, I genuinely do. Your channel and even you yourself have been a "boon" to me. On top of the content your fantastic team effort channel has consistently produced, you yourself are a treasure. Dear Baldermort, I just wanna share this story with you and thank you so you may know the impact of your content and the stories you make. I got into the hobby about a year and a half ago after I played Dark Heresy RPG session. I got interested into the lore and finally bought some minis. When the quarantine came some months later your videos played in the background while painting my Blood Angels and Dark Angels saved me from worldwide depression. But when covid had taken my grandparents one soon after another it was your content played sometimes 6 hours per day that had kept me from just collapsing into that pit I think we all know by now. Even though it is just SF books and toys... This was all I needed. So I wish to thank you with all my heart for keeping me alive and getting me into the lore. I want to thank Mrs.B for all of the amazing music. Your content brings tears, like Dorn's history, inspiration, like the Sensei video and joy like in the Kronan's story. Thank you for your astonishing kindness. I’m not an author. I am considering writing a novel, but I’m a bit concerned. It could not be warhammer. They’ve rejected all of my attempts at submissions. My own fault of course. But it doesn’t fill me with confidence. And I’m always told how good my voice is. Hence, perhaps it’s just not that good. It just sounds good? Time will tell I guess. I just feel that all my stuff is free, sounds ok, and is on KZbin. I have deep doubts about my abilities. Otherwise? Why is my channel not doing better against people who just do short synopses of the lore? I know most youtube is short info and out. But others do long form and crush my numbers utterly. Like, embarrassingly so. I want to write. I do. But I just can’t see it working out. I’ll try. But just know I don’t expect a big win on this endeavour. I think I’m just too old to ‘get’ the modern audience. :).

I can only imagine your struggles. Baldermort, I don't want to sound strange but I would like to share with you one of the most meaningful 40k memories I've ever had since I started collecting back in 2022. I was fairly new to the hobby and recently picked up some space Marines. The only problem was I knew very little about the lore and did not know which chapter to paint my marines. Shortly after I discovered your channel I came across your "Rogal Dorn" three part series. I didn't know anything about the imperial fists at the time. Baldermort, after I listened to your first episode, I immediately queued up the next two. I was so enraptured by your tale. I don't know quite how to describe it, but you have an extremely human way of portraying all of your characters and stories. I found your take of "The Longest Second" an extremely irresistible hook and fascinating idea I hope this doesn't sound too strange, but I felt inspired by your portrayal of Rogal Dorn's duty, loyalty, stoicism, and as you pointed out so wonderfully, Rogal's belief in The Dream of a new imperium and happier times for Man. I am not exaggerating when I say that your series inspired me to collect imperial fists. The IF are now my favorite legion and I've been collecting them ever since. As far as your narrative abilities and writing abilities, all I can say is my favorite and most memorable of your videos have always been of your own creation, such as the Thaddeus and Tarquinus series, Kronan Da Kunnin', and your anthology collections. I think you are a very gifted narrator but what has kept me so interested in your work to this day is your incredible writing and storytelling. I wish I could help your success in some way. Please know that your work has really meant a lot to me and I wish you future success.

I never been interested in Warhammer 40k until the start of this month after stumbling across your channel. Ever since I have been hooked!!! I never knew just how in depth the universe Games Workshop had created. But it was the stories of your own creation that got me. Kronan's bug hut was the first and ever since I have been listening to at least 4 videos each day. You should consider getting them published as they are amazing! The story of the Lictor and those brilliant Catachan Jungle Fighters is glorious. That Planetary Governor was a hero, not knowing what he could do, but knowing he had to suffer in silence to keep people from dying, it was a most painful, and horrific of circumstances. There was a genuine feeling pf relief when those Catachan Jungle Fighters, those "ruffians" entered his life. I knew that they would kill it, when others had failed to
