Have used Pro Mark Sticks from a teenager to an adult and then to a grumpy old drummer!! who now searches for his teeth instead of his pro marks!! to be serious, still using them at age 66, always a good balance with your sticks. keep up the good work, God Bless to all the staff who work for Pro mark. I love ProMark! I used them years ago, and moved away from them to try something different, and then I ended up back with ProMark after several years. I’ve tried lots of models of other people’s sticks, and It was like “coming home” when I found a ProMark model that I loved again. The sticks just feel better in my hands than other brands. Better cymbal sounds too. And I break WAY less of them. Something more natural about the overall contact with the instrument. And, this makes no difference to the feel, but the stripes just look cool too. Hard to tell what brands some people play, but if you’re playing ProMark, there is generally zero doubt. Great marketing technique there!

I think the Forward 5A Acorn tip model (FBH565AW) would be excellent for your needs.

Magic Menace i use to have a problem with breaking sticks all the time. I tried all kinds of brands and finally settled on pro marks as the most durable. I use to use the neil peart 747s. Then i found the pro mark shira kashi oak sticks. The wood is denser than hickory and these sticks actually last. I like the heavier feel compared to the 747 which are very similar to 5a's in size and shape. I use the 5a wood tip shira kashi oak sticks and I now very rarely ever break any sticks,only replacing them when the tips break. Pro mark for life!

I actually gravitated to promark in high school marching band. They made better bass drum mallets than Vic Firth. The balance on them was insanely good. Then I got Neil Peart's 747s. They were some of the best I'd owned. After picking up drumming again 8 years later I finally decided on Joe Morello's 11As. Great balance and feel. I also liked the fact that you get more of a defined bead than on the 747s. Thank you promark for making amazing sticks. I will always buy promark

I'm changing to Promark, used to play with vics but they would always break from the inside of the stick then snap apart in half, plus theese dudes from promarks are very detailistic with there sticks and vics quietly not

So i bought the promark rebound active grip about 4 months ago and it is the best pair of sticks i've ever tried. I was searching for the perfect stick for me for a while and i finally found it! Great job promark! And also planting 5 trees for each one that is cut is a great way of helping the enviroment!

Just got myself a pair of Hictory 5B Forward Balance drumsticks and so far I'm LOVING them!! The balance I've been looking for, for speed, for hard hitting, & having more control in my softer or harder playing! Vic Firth was good to be but so far Promark is starting to become my stick of choice!!🤘🏼

As a player of the other famous brand i must say the Promark tips are superior to any other stick.One half hour playing with other brand and the tip was gone.Played 2 hours with the Promark and it was good as new + no splinters from the rimshots.

I like the old logo better! Especially the Shiri Kashi oak ones with the little Asian guy on them! You guys truly are the best though! My late uncle Johnny gave me a pair of 7A Shiri Kashi Oak sticks back 10+ years ago..and I loved them! I now use the 5B Shira Kashi. I always make sure to tell people what sticks Im using when my band gets off stage.

I still have a pair from like 2008 with the sumo wrestler hah. They're still great shape cause I only use them for practice pad warm ups and not on the set. Maybe they'll be a collectors item soon?

Just got a new pair of TX707N to try out after going through almost all of my old millennium ll 707's and I see there are differences which concerns me a little. The neck on the new D'ADDARIO 707's is slightly thicker,I'm hoping the bounce rebound quality isn't affected from the original sticks and also the "round bead " isn't as "round" as the originals! Why has the bead changed shape?? I've been using ProMark 707 nylons for at least 25 years,the perfect stick for me ! Fingers crossed or should I say sticks crossed they still are ....????? :-/

I'm curious about nylon tips. Every stick I've used, the tips go flying within minutes. What makes ProMark nylon tips more durable than others? Are they molded around a tip profile or are they just glued on?

drummachine5787 All of our oak sticks come from Japan, though they're all weight matched and pitch paired to the same specs as all of our hickory and maple sticks.

1.5 grams? I got a pair of the old Greb (5BG) signatures and the difference in weight is around 10 grams. I scaled them just to be sure.

Diego Durán There were several changes made to the manufacturing process when D’Addario acquired Promark. Chances are your sticks were made before then.

Try the Select Balance line. You'll want to experiment with the different options in tapers and diameters to find the perfect model for your needs.

I have playt ProMark drumsticks, end this what i have to say. There the best drumsticks. I hat vater drumstick, that broke in 2 peases, vick virt the same problem it also broke from the bottom to the top. Im not a big guy but i hit the drum, promark thit not break ore what ever, these stick last for about 2 to 3 months. End i think its a good idea for cutting 1 tree u put 5 back. keep up the good work.

+Promark Drumsticks Too many smash cuts creating lots of scenes without context or pay-offs. Example: talking about centerless grinding whilst showing a scene that starts too late and ends too soon. There are four scenes with the logger, three of which about marking the logs. What is he marking? Why does it matter? Or, at least, why does it matter enough to have so much exposition that, for instance, felling the tree didn't deserve? Nobody talks about drying or humidity levels but there's a loose scene showing wood stacked up presumably drying. The reforestation effort is punctuated with a still picture of what is pretty much just fog and clouds. The video has a good narrative, following the script and such, but the editing is very weird to me.
