prometheus' theme uses the same instruments as oliver's theme. there's also a slight similarity between the horn and the string parts with oliver's. also love how blake neely knows how to ramp up these villain themes when needs to, like when prometheus kills his wife, the horn section of his theme blares to tell us prometheus has now fully committed to his vendetta

Prometheus was a big part of Green Arrow's story before Flashpoint. I don't think he's appeared since.

Prometheus had a storyline with Green Arrow that ended with him murdering Roy Harper's daughter and Green Arrow putting an arrow through his face. But Prometheus in the comics is very different. He's more like Batman and more high-tech. His backstory according to him was that his parents were murdered by police so he views the justice system as an evil that needs to be removed from the face of the Earth, which eventually caused him to target the Justice League. After getting beaten by the League, Prometheus went after Batman first and then after the newly resurrected Green Arrow.

Well we know Green Arrow is basically the Arrowverse Batman so it kinda makes sense, lol. The TV Prometheus also devoted his life to destroying the "evil" that killed his criminal parent, Oliver Queen. At least comics Prometheus was notable for making Oliver break the no-kill rule, but for the show, Ra's al Ghul and Damien Darhk already did that.

Prometheus has encountered Green Arrow before but this is a very different version of the character who is the very embodiment of his failures coming back to haunt him. The comics Prometheus is an anti-justice type character who goes after all the Justice League members and has even defeated the Flash and Green Lantern, and I think the only hero he can't fight is Superman. But I agree this version of Prometheus should somehow be adapted into the comics.
