Miss them why? Don’t be a fool! These 2 hosts are fools (atheists) and their less-than-worthless, asinine, lost & clueless religious cult of atheism is INFAMOUS the world over for having ZERO ANSWERS. No atheist has a RATIONAL/POSSIBLE, step-by-step atheist explanation for reality. That's because there isn't one. THESE GUYS ADMIT THAT THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS!!! The fact remains that along w/ DYING/FINITE space/matter/energy, TIME had a cause. The logical conclusion (when we follow the evidence) is that such a cause is TIMELESS. And if you're TIMELESS, do you have a beginning or end? No. We call that cause "OUR INFINITE, SUPERNATURAL GOD," who by definition is TIMELESS, CHANGELESS, BEGINNINGLESS, SPACELESS, IMMATERIAL and ENORMOUSLY POWERFUL. These topics are the most important topics known; thus, EVERYONE should have a vast understanding of the facts that frame the truth of these topics and not be so content to gulp down the false propaganda of channels such as this one. By the way, I suggest watching the movie called "Spotlight" and you will see how these religious bastions have mentally abused not only adults but, especially, little children....sexually! And, this has been going on forever...not just a recent occurrence! Religions are evil and very abusive...mentally and physically! It's not only Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny that is total fiction...God, Jesus, Heaven, Hell, Satan, Angels, and Demons are all just made up, ridiculous, superstitious, nonsense used to control and manipulate all of the gullible, superstitious goobers who fall for that ridiculous nonsense!

As I was growing up, the longer I spent around believers in rooms full of believers, the more I thought about believing and whether it's a good idea. See, what we all really value is supportive, fun and loving community. Believers tend to think the only way those communities can happen in the first place or the only way they can sustain is via a god. But they never can point to the god. The only evidence they have of a god is always very indirect and vague. But any new community, they sense of a god which may or may not strengthen the community or make it more enjoyable for them, which then presents as more evidence for God. What believers really love is circular arguments. I tell young people and uncertain believers to believe until you believe, essentially. Or they lead them by example to believe until they believe.

@Stashmo the point of proof, or rather evidence, is to confirm that their faith isn't misplaced. It takes the place of faith. With evidence, faith is no longer necessary. Human nature makes people want proof which is why religion causes so much internal conflict and questioning. For most other big decisions in life, we need to see evidence. With religion, we're told to just accept it on faith and be quiet. That goes against a huge part of what makes us human--our curiosity and desire for knowledge.

What so many theists fail to understand is that when we learn language and social rules/beliefs, it wires the neurons in our brains into specific patterns. It's not a simple matter of changing an opinion, but literally creating new neural connections which allow for new thought patterns to establish themselves. And why old fears/insecurities can keep reasserting themselves even after years of deconversion.

This is an awesome point. I think this works on both sides too. Atheists could do to remember this as well when talking to theists... Changing someones mind on this issue is very difficult. And simply attacking someones point of view often causes them to just entrench themselves deeper into their neural pathways/patterns... Because that is what is safe to them. Ive had this issue talking to theists where i just harp on the dumb shit they believe and it gets me nowhere. The way to peel a sticker is to work at the edges. I think its the same with neural pathways and thought patterns, you gotta start with the easy shit to convince them of and work at it slowly.

It is also important to understand that neural connections are impelled by emotions in varying degrees of intensity which feed your fears and deconversion will be successful if you recognize those unwanted emotions as the cause of your fears which will quickly dissipate into harmless vapors as self created delusions.

Her toolbox for how to determine what is reasonable and what is not, based on available evidence, is empty. I don't know that I entirely fault her for using her feelings in that situation, but I'll still fault her for not accepting it when a better tool is handed to her. it should have been pointed out early on that she declared her self an agnostic believer early on--by definition if she can't "know" god exists, she can only "feel" and "believe", then she's an agnostic on the subject, even without being an atheist. Her "God is all around us! We just can't see him without prior belief!" should have been responded to with the same assertion about an invisible unicorn and the question as to what the difference was between the claims aside from what she came to the table already believing.

Atheism is a DANGEROUS dead end. God created EVERYTHING. And EVERYTHING can only come by a source of EVERYTHING. God created this world and maintains this world as he holds this world together for his plan to reach his goal: "He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together." - Colossians 1:17 God’s goal is to reap the best of mankind from the earth, to present to his son that will return his son’s love by their own free will in Heaven for eternity. The best of mankind is called “The Bride of Christ.” We are commanded to "overcome" Satan, the world & the flesh to be in the number that goes to heaven via death or the Rapture of the Church. Try to learn what I'm teaching you before it's too late (when your temporary free will expires at your last gasp on earth and you go to an eternal hell - wishing you had never been born). YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO GET THIS WRONG. Because 100+ trillion yrs from the moment you entire hell, it won’t even be the start of eternity! It was easy for me to shed my faith, because I never clung to it like a second skin. Maybe being gay had something to do with it, though I doubt it. Lots of gay people are still religious believers. You guys make up all sorts of stories about this Jesus character, but when it's boiled down to basics, it can be summed up thus: god creates humans that he knows will fail and sin according to his laws, so he sends himself down as his own son, to save us from his own wrath, then sacrifices his son to himself to appease himself, and it's been chaos ever since. Scientific hope has resulted in curing the blind, putting a men on the moon, the internet we are speaking over, and the medical & agricultural advances that have allowed the world’s population to surge to nearly triple in my lifetime. Having a single answer (god) to all of life’s questions can stop further inquiry. It suggests that this life only useful for preparing for the next. But if that were true, Jesus wouldn’t have instructed us to serve others in this lifetime. Look how amazing it was that when the pandemic struck, that this time, a vaccine was created within a year that drastically reduced its mortality! How does this not offer hope? With every advancement, there is hope of new & better ways to improve this life. Hope for what happens after death is only useful for the dead. I prefer to put my hope in knowledge & learning, and teaching that almost anything is possible if people work together. At least until God pulls that Tower of Babel nonsense again to punish our collective pride. Caller: God is X thing. Hosts: You're saying god is (accurate rephrasing of X thing)?? Caller (suddenly incredulous): You're saying that God is the exact thing that I just said God is??? This kind of non-logic drives me nuts. If the person isn't being purely disingenuous (which is often the case, to be fair), that kind of thing seems to come from a concerning struggle with certain elements of reading/listening comprehension that religion seems to stunt for a lot of people (depending on how steeped in it they are and/or used to be, especially if they grew up with it). Not for everybody, thankfully, but it seems to be such a common thing for a lot of people I've seen who grew up indoctrinated in the way it seems this lady was, even when they legit appear to be trying. I wonder how much that's an accurate perception.

The evolution of trees is well documented. One of my geology tutors was a palaeobotanist who was also a devout Christian. He acknowledged that he had a problem with his beliefs, but he taught science according to the evidence. Respect.

Most don't see the harm. It is a complicated massive harm that adds up to deadly results eventually. "Ignorance is bliss" and "oh, I don't see the harm" is very harmful to others and denial to oneself. Just because you can't put the pieces together, don't just claim "no harm". Simply putting "hell" into a young personas head can destroy the rest of a life that could have been good. It paralysed children by the billions, while people say "no harm". Bliss. Gr8! Peace ☮💜

@@ApatheticFish3667 There are many people who are blind that know and love God/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit because by faith in the blood of Christ they have hope. They know that one day because of their faith in the Creator of all things they will be in a place where only righteousness dwells and there will be no more blindness or sin. No more unbelief. Atheists offer no hope. If they did, they would forgive sin and cause the blind to see. That's what Jesus Christ did.

I can’t help but offer a personal house Real life example. My parents, hardcore Born Again Christians-at the time in their 60s - moved to FL. They bought a mobile home from other “god fearing Christian’s” who the said, in their prayers god told them to trust and buy. Despite all of us children and their friends told them, they trusted gods word and these find Christian people. Less than a month after closing they had a pluming problem, the plumber went under the home and came back to tell them everything under there was rotten and the floor would soon fall in. The place was dangerous and he had to report it to the park manager. My parents eventually had to choose to replace the entire sub-structure or have it towed away and get a new home. Pissed me off that rather that seeing they were cheated they saw it as gods way of getting them a brand new home.

I assume they got a 'new home' - so do YOU suppose how THEY see things is wrong and how YOU see things is right? Kids don't always do what their parents agree with. And parents don't always do things that their kids agree with.

@@wwlib5390not only did they get a new home they couldn’t afford, that’s why they were buying used in the first place. My dad got a heart attack from the stress of having to come out of retirement to work a second job at a dry cleaning company to help pay that mortgage. And mom was left widowed and lost the house only 8 years after this started. With no real equity in it, as it was a mobile home. She was left with nothing. She moved back north and lived in elder housing. She was too proud to move in with any of her godless children how wished to offer her a comfortable home. I guess “god” works in mysterious ways…. "we dawnt hav da toolz to meahsure the lawrd today" Dianna, you were so damn close. Travel to a hot, I mean HOT area and convince the natives about the legend of rock water. No freezer, no ice cream, etc just 1 book written about ice. Unlike the bible, it can be a well written, well edited book, and you still won't convince them about ice. They will laugh you outa their village. And the topic in this hypothetical is just solid water. Not a genocidal but somehow actually kinda sorta good-ish wizard. Oh, and you would not tell them that water is the only liquid we can freeze solid. But the g0d is the only deity. RUUUUUY?
