Proof of Funds update - making EE profile ineligible

FSW/FSTC profiles are being reported as becoming ineligible and that is the because IRCC has sneakily updated their #POF requirement without announcing it.
Here is the new requirement

3 - $21055
4 - $25564
5 - $28994
6 - $32700
7 - $36407
This has not been updated on their website yet, however it has been updated in the Gckey when creating your Express Entry profile.
And before the rest of you start panicking - this ONLY applies to new profiles that have not received an ITA.
For everyone else it does not apply unless IRCC makes the announcement.
For those whose applications are submitted, these changes do not apply to you.
So go ahead and update your profiles immediately, before they become ineligible.
As of now PNPs have not updated their proof of funds, but do prepare for it as they will also update it shortly.

Hello Sir , you are amazing with latest updates and knowledge on IRCC stuff. I am an FSW candidate in EE but i am a student in Canada and I received my ITA in last draw ( 484 ). I have two questions 1) when I created my profile, I mentioned my POF ( 16485$ ) something, but now i got an ITA and my profile is locked, as per the latest POF update, i need to update funds , so where can i change it now , if so where it is ? 2) I had given my medicals two years back when i am coming to canada as a student- does that medical work ?

Where do we go an update the POF requirement? Doesn’t that come into play after receiving an ITA? I’m in the pool so what changes do I need to make at this stage?

I wud suggest to update it in your proof of fubds section even after receiving an ITA

No they don't. CEC are exempt from POF

@kubeir, I submitted the eAPR on 4/30 without noticing the POF changed. I stated in the form $13.500 and showed balance in bank of $17K. What should I do now? Thanks!

Hello Kubeir. last week, before I submitted my application I couldn’t preview my score. It kept saying no category met even for FSW I qualified for. I put $13,500 as POF. I submitted anyway, because I was certain I didn’t make any mistakes in my application and couldn’t see any error. I thought it was a glitch. I have issued a webform and asked for my profile to be changed to $14,000 POF. I think it’s really unfair they did this without an announcement.

It is always better to show 2% extra or just round it off to the highest number

Well IRCC has not made the official announcement yet, so if you are submitting before the announcement you don't have to change. If submitting after the announcement then you should change. If it was me, I would change it anyways just to avoid any hassles.

@@kantoudalor6642 First you have to generate personal reference number. Then login with your gckey and Go to Apply to Canada option. It will ask for personal reference code then enter reference and continue to create your profile with updated POF values.
