I walk in Gadebridge Park most days and I've never seen any security guards which means that they knew you where coming and they organised someone to approach you which is pretty scary. There's a real jobsworth element here in Hemel Hempstead. There's even a Paul Blart working in the shopping mall who screams at toddlers who don't take their shoes of whilst playing in the kids area.

Hi Andy; I can't believe that you honestly think there's such a thing as "free Democratic process" in the UK! I've been quietly involved in Ukip, The Brexit party and now Reform UK for 25 years; and I've seen only a series of attempts, some quite violent, from the left-wing to shut out competition. Even to the extent of blatant vote-rigging, both at local and national levels. However, the message still gets through; partly because, once people begin to realise that these attempts to stifle a particular point of view, they want to know why. The whole thing then tends to backfire on the protagonists; giving the "underdog" (for want of a better word) votes and support that weren't there before. The Labour (i call them 'Liebour') party are scared of anyone who tells the truth. Perhaps we should rejoice at the support these idiots are handing us.

Proportional Representation, here's an idea but bear in mind I'm not that familiar with how westminster works ( or rather it doesn't) Retain first past the post but during parliamentary debates the party leader can use the national vote share, eg We had 15 million voters so that's 15 million against you I know it would be a lot more complicated but at least every election vote matters even if you voted for the losing parties..

The Labour guys have no leaflets and are perfectly entitled just to walk through the park - just as you are.
