The other day I won a hand I should never have won. The opponent had a pair which I didn’t even have. I had nothing! Checked it three times. Eventually made a screenshot of it on my iphone and one day later I wanted to check again. Turns out that same screenshot had been removed from my iPhone. Nowhere to be found. It’s a 1000% scam!

The human mind is biased to over-focus on these instances, and completely remove the instances where the opposite happens. Like, maybe you never get lucky with the J3 calling an all-in pre, because you're not stupid enough to do that. But are you honestly telling me, that you're sitting there writing down, every time that you have a good hand, and it holds up? I can garuantee you, you've been on stretches where you've won a bunch of times in a row, maybe 8 or 9 pots coming your way back to back, but you didn't have 100% equity every time. Just 50-80%. So you should've lost some, but you didn't. You're really telling me, you're sitting there taking the time to note down every time these stretches happen? No... The human mind thinks everything is par for the course, we're playing great, we're getting rewarded. Then when the opposite happens, and you lose a couple of 80/20s in a row, you lose your shit, the brain thinks "this can't be right! I was supposed to win! give me that back!". But actually, you were supposed to lose, 20% of the time. Sometimes it'll be running 3s, sometimes it'll be a flush, sometimes they'll back into a straight. Just be thankful that they're willing to enter into an agreement that says you will take the pot 80% of the time, take the note, and move on with your session. Fuck what the result of the pot is, don't even watch the runout. It's all about equity. Don't play high enough where you care what happens to the pot. Put in the volume. If you're losing over a large sample, it's because you're not beating the rake. Which is hard to do, so don't take it to heart. You can't just be better than your opponents, and you'll come out on top. You have to be MUCH better than your opponents, to beat the rake by a decent amount. Which will be the only thing that can save you from the brutal swings (a massive winrate). So basically. Either quit. Or study enough to gain a huge edge. That's the only way to achieve a situation where we lose much less often. Otherwise, accept that your winrate is probably non-existent/very small, not because you're stupid, but because everyone else is also trying pretty hard to win, and just enjoy the ride if that's the case.... Don't expect to win! That's called entitlement. If they have equity, they might win. That is just a fact. It doesn't matter how fortunate it may appear on the surface, it's part of their equity.

Online poker is definitely rigged, lost track of the constant bad beats I’ve had where I was ahead ten fold. Miracle hands that players get to win just never happen and are unbelievable. I was playing this morning. Everyone folded except dealer and small blind. They limp in, I’m big blind staring at ace ten off suit so I raise 3x more the big blind. Both dealer and small blind call. Flop comes 72A. So I have top pair with a decent kicker. I bet the pot. Dealer folds. Small blind calls. The turn is a 10 so I have two pair. I bet the pot again. Small blind calls. River is a 7. Small blind shoves I call. This guy had 7 10. Like seriously! I un installed poker stars after that.

I remember i did 100 hands in a row calling to the river everytime to avoid bias. The amount of 3 of a kind, straights, flushes, quads etc that i got in just those 100 hands using binomial was at such a low probability 0.00008...% that is was impossible that it was not rigged and it was jst luck. yes, I have 10 years of experience. I used to crush tournaments, final table every day when I was playing much worse, as my game improved, I started winning less and less. I remember I used to call with King 9 for example in some positions where its simply a mistake and almost always hit and win. They say the poker rooms have no incentive to do that since you play against other players, but THEY DO have incentive. If they feed the fish and make it harder for good players, the good players will keep depositing because they know it was just "unlucky" and they can make it if they just go on . But ofcourse since its rigged, no they can;t. Also, the fish they feed will start thinking they are good, and start investing more time in poker, then as they naturally improve the circle continues. More tilt rake too! God I want to catch them so bad!!

Really its great to hear things like this.To be honest I have to really eat my words to my first comment about it being rigged. I started to take the game seriously just recently in the past couple months and got some coaching. The games not rigged. I had huge leaks that I wasnt aware of and didnt realise how many errors I was making. I'm now winning 15BB/100. I went on a down swing recently with around 13 buy ins. Not too bad a down swing but came back the next day from playing solid fundamentals which I never properly learned. Now when I lose with my AA I shrug it and I noticed it doesnt even bother. It only bothers people when they lose because they dont play correctly and that AA is the best chance they have of winning I guess. Well that's how I felt now I think about it. I'd love to play live like you but the casinos are shut so your really lucky to have that chance. Like you I'd love to play on Americas Card room. Looks like a goldmine from what my friends in the states said. The game takes a lot of effort and what I mean is that it takes lots of study and work off the table like any other athlete or sports man does when there not playing golf, boxing, football, training non stop. Now I train and study everyday like brushing my teeth. Your bad beats arent bad beats anymore there what makes the game winnable. No loss, no win and its keeping people like yourself in good conditions. I really hope you the best man.

When i see this then it looks familair to me. I can create a movie to with a lot of b*llshit bad beats, river kills, runner-runner bad beat, pre flop way a head and still loosing. Impossible calls from opponents. Sometimes i just literally knew what card would show on the turn / river. I think online poker is made for there own players or sponsered players who have a big advantage in terms of winning. Think i lost the last 2 weeks somewhere between 75 and 81 procent of the flips. when i compare... live poker has always been a profit for me. Played against the best and worst of the world. The person after you always has one card higher, you get punished for not limping in, punished for not completing the small blind, punished for not calling in with pot odds, and you don’t hit the hands you are chasing with the most outs. Noticed something funny while playing tournaments on GG Poker. If you go all in against any players who has a higher stack then you, your basically drawing dead. Even with pocket Aces the player with the largest stack has you on a cooler 99.999999 percent of the time.

You know I thought everyone was being stupid complaining about online being rigged that until I saw 30 2 outers 49 3 others and 3 one outer in less than 500 hands. It didnt stop though the final hand for me was I had aces vs a k off flop was a k k gets all in turn was k river was Ace I cashed out and am never playing online again. Luckily I won a huge hand and was able to cash out 5k but I'm 100% convinced global poker is corrupt af

I play every day since two months and every fucking time I see the same cards. 23,32,q5,j8,43,etc when I'm not chip leader. when I am I have kk, ace, etc. they give flush at two player at the same time. at the river. fucking Liars who say it's not rigged. it's three day in a row i have the same hand two time in a row. kk two time in a row. ak two time in a row. you don't see that on live.

I don't have friends playing online, but I suggest that. 6 mates sitting at one table for 1000 hands on some table and then analysing all hands with mathematical models, are there any statistical anomalies developing(inducing action, bad beats etc.). I understand that 1000 hands is not huge size sample but it is a start, if something is way out of line more experiments could be done. Pool should be somehow different, few regs, few recreationals, few new players. If something very fishy caught after careful research organiser and participants would go into history as Poker Messiah and disciples :)

Ive had way worse than this, i got stacked 9 times and won one in the sapce of 300 hands including losing quad over quads a guy who best 8 2 off pre and hit the straight on the river when ihit the A and the same guy calling a 3 bet 3 way with q 3 off and hit the q on the flop and 3 on the river as i hit the A on the flop , this guy was bombing every pot and shoving every river with everyone ! i went from being up 80$ to broke.

Tbh online does seem rigged sometimes because we play about 10x as many hands per hour as live. We're bound to see the crazy or unfair hands sometimes. It seems rigged at times for sure tho. But that's statistics. Even the 1% hands will win sometimes.

At 20:55 I know he has AK with ace of diamonds but it has to be a losing call right? If you are 3 bet jamming all flushes which he should believe you are then Ad blocker means nothing and he has to believe your 3 bet bluffs on that river come from Ad x hands , so its horrible holding the Ad. Its a fold surely, i think if you had bet half to full pot though i think he just calls so the 1bb lead worked out great in my favourite place " results orientated land " - you should go there for a nice break from "playing sound winning poker land" just make sure you bring a lot of spending money its quite expensive here in my land. Seen as 95 percent of viewers and especially those who comment on the way you play a certain hand live permanently here at "Results Orientated Land" . I'd rather play rigged poker for real money... at least you don't have people calling your preflop raise of 630k with pocket Aces to a flop of K spades, J spades, and Q hearts, and then calling your all in push to reveal they had a 3-9 offsuit... Only to hit a 9 on the turn and a 3 on the river... then when you search their stats they have over 5000 hands played with a preflop fold percent of 7%, fold after flop is 4%, and after turn or river is literally less than 1%... This is what's flooding the fake money poker apps like WSOP... It's straight garbage... I've won a good bit with real money and have had some suspect moments for sure, but nothing compares to free to play fake money rooms and idiots who couldn't even play poker in real life.

Come on Pav 9:55.. That 80 percent turn bet should've gave his hand away real quick. He's nutted more towards AK, A7, 77 than he is a 3 barrel bluff. For a guy like you, That should be a solid fold, if not on the turn, def. on the river. When you're hoping for AJ, you should already know in your mind your beat, because that's wishful thinking that you think the other player in a 500 dollar buy in is gonna rip it off there with AJ. Gotta make those folds and swallow your pride my man. That was a lazy call down.

his 80pct turn size is basically his only continue size. should be bet 1/3 and overbet river? no, polar spots require polar betting. great job listing his value, but you failed to list his bluffs. it's a tough spot but apart from A7s and 77, AQ is my next best hand. his club draws blocking my best Ax will be clear follow through here, and he can still take this line wAQ and AJ for value. when i'm in the moment 10 tabling, i can't list every combo he has for bluffs here. so no, i'm not just hoping for AJ lol. and of course you can deviate away from GTO here and say "but population play x like y," but that's a whole different discussion. from reading your analysis, what it tells me is you don't have enough follow through bluffs in your arsenal, or understand what a polar betting strategy looks like. and btw, i play thousands of hands a day, multi table and stream. there is never going to be perfect poker. this is just a condescending comment to stroke your own ego.
