I might have to buy me a reemer, I guess my old school way of using my handy drill is antiquated 🤣

Hey! A drill would work, right? Cuz im prolly not gonna get a reamer in my country but I do have a drill and the screw thingy that’s the same size as my shaft… I recently got 9045 props for my next build, using a 2217 1500KV motor… but the prop shaft is prolly 4mm while my motor’s shaft is slightly bigger… just wanna know if a drill would work just fine without damaging the prop… it’s one of those grey coloured hardened plastic thingy prop…

Yes a real would work And will not damage the prop issue is centering the drill as you cannot a 100% get that drill in the center of the hole so you might all block it and throw off the balance

@@NoonzAirborneRC i ended up drilling through all the props i bought! For a moment it seemed like if they went a bit off-center but when i put them on the motor, the seemed just fine... Again, so long as the plane flies okay i dont much care if the centering is SLIGHTLY different aha- I was planning on buying a reamer but when I checked the prices in my country, I thought a slightly off center prop is better lol- the reamer you used costs about INR 5451 on my country's amazon... which is around 67 USD... so yeah, i thought a drill is the way to go lol-

how loose around the shaft is acceptable and how much is not?

their SAE reamers are oversized. you will get a out of center prop. DON'T USE THESE JUNKERS.
