You have a great variety of plants in your greenhouse! I haven't done much with cuttings. It looks really interesting! Thanks!! -Lea

Thanks Lea. It's a great way of getting a few extra plants, even if you're trying trying to propagate for hedges and herbs etc.

Great to see so much doing well for you in your greenhouse, your previous cutting video inspired me to have a go myself, i took some cutting of my bonsai tree but i dont seem to have the magic touch like you as they died after a week 😯. Hope you do get some interesting results with your cross pollinated seedlings. Take care

Trees, or any hard wood cuttings, can be pretty tough and they can die quickly. I try and take softwood as they tend to develop roots faster. I still lost quite a lot too, though! Nice that you've got a bonsai though! :D

Would it would on an indoor house windowsill? Also how do I propagate dianthus?

Did you overwinter them indoors or in the green house id like to take cuttings of ones ive bought this year for next summer

Overwinter them in a greenhouse just to protect from frost. :)
