I'd like to try this, but right now my 2x2x5 grow tent is occupied to the max with a cucumber plant that is producing cucumbers every day. I got 6 from it this morning and there are at least 5 more that will probably be ready by tomorrow. I got the idea from your hydroponic cucumbers video.

I have the worse luck with cucumbers. Do you have any advice? Mine ALWAYS The leaves start turning yellow then get crispy, I have no problems at all growing them outside in soil but inside and Hydroponics it’s impossible for me lol I’ve tried all kinds of different things such as different nutrients, different PPM and pH’s, different gallon sizes, different parthenocarpic seeds, etc etc etc but the exact same thing happens every single time 😂😂😂 also the baby cukes never grow and always die off

@@GodsChild145 I wish I could give you some advice, but it turns out that one plant was a fluke. I've tried it again with little success. I guess everything was just perfect with that first Diva cucumber plant, but I have not been able to replicate it again.

Thank you for making this video! I've just had my first successful tomato cutting propagation. My outdoor cherry tomato plant was old and in bad shape, but I didn't want to stop getting the great tomatoes it produced. I did what you showed here, and now have two young cuttings indoors, growing like crazy in a Kratky setup!

I recently switched to a Happy Lead Procyon Pro light which only uses 68 watts. I’m now getting twice the growth using much less electricity. Happy Leaf makes their lights in America and I’ve been blown away by the results. I’m not affiliated with Happy Leaf in any way. I ran into an issue in terms of the roots. (While growing in a smaller "container", the root mass grew to a point of "no-removal" where IF- I was to attempt to remove / lift the net cup, each time the roots would get "cut off of" the mass.) Is there any video you have, (pertaining to long term growing with tomatoes) as I would like to keep them growing for as long as possible. The make shift other container.. Needless to say, I had to cut off the top of the first container, (the entire area surrounding & holding the net cup in place) and I had to "jerry-rig" 1 top onto the other, in order to keep it growing & to avoid what would have been / become inevitable with trying to remove the net cup, for ANY reason period. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, from ANYONE in the community! Thanks in advance to anyone who guides, tips or helps in regards to my "issue". *[P.S.]* I would really, REALLY like to stay away from the "Dutch buckets", as I have already made a few purchases, wasted a couple hundred dollars and I'm not, in any form "enticed to purchase", ANY other forms of these contraptions. I've decided to strictly stick with Kratky, FOR this purpose. I am, in no way or form- "interested, enticed *or* incentivized" towards adding any of the "software/got'cha-systems", under any "rationalizations / justifications".

im 39 started growin as a child. indoor / outdoor experience grown many diff vegies fruits and cannabis. it is not wise at all to grow dwc hydro in same tent as soil container plants cuz of bug pest can devistate your dwc plants and quick.I like how you treat your plants in the soap but in the soil bugs can lay dormant for months. im not putting you down or telling you what to do but this happens to people in the grow room. we all live in different regions and pests are at a level in 2020 like never before. times are changing , I live in n. california and we never had pest issues outdoor but we do now and we are having indoor issues also even using the cleanest practices in indoor grow rooms. I currently grow my cannabis indoor and vegtables and herbs outdoor but seasons over so im just gonna run some snow peas outdoor. I grow on coco only indoor and soil outdoor. I start my vegtables indoor from seed on coco in a 4 inch square pot or red cup til they get like 1 foot and healthy then I transplant to soil for outdoor transition. I love coco cuz the pest issue is not a issue like soil. I use dr bronners 18 in 1 sold at trader joes $12 and its a great soil drench but spraying on plants is not that good.dr bronners has hemp oil,peppermint oil, bark soap and some other great organic ingredients. dr bronners 18 in 1 is also a soil conditioner that helps activate the microbes . Im not a youtuber like that but I like what you do and would like to see you garden flourish and others flourish. I love to grow Marzano tomatoes man they make the best spaghetti sauces and tomatoes are the easiest to clone. I did a experiment one time by cutting a tomatoe branch placed it in the rockwool then just planted it in a pot with soil and it cloned well outdoor . I learned how easy a tomatoe can clone

Guessing earliest mid March (but better April) if he’s in north Texas as I think he is. Depends, TX isn’t consistent. If I were he, I’d make cuttings from the hydroponic one into soil mix in a foam cup, use that like a seedling start. At that time of year I put my seedlings into a cardboard beer box and run them into the garage overnight if frost warning. Transplant later.

@thaliahelene

I think I saw that guy too, he uses the pool noodle if it tends to fall over, but at first he uses a circular disk disk of foam (floor mat, hole saw) with 4 notches that make it almost a tiny cross. Two of the cross parts insert into the plant container with the plant, the other 2 hold it from falling in. Reusable, ingenious. Khang, I noticed you switched from rock wool to hydroton during your experiment, was there an issue you didn’t mention? Your bigger tent looks fun.
@KhangStarr
