Eric, your videos are addictive! :) I was troubleshooting all of those problems with you. :) When my wife and I were on the "RV road, again," I had a few problems that we had to deal with. (like a leaking hot water tank in a NEW RV, in Key West. Stayed with the Navy there - am a retired USAF person.) Was dry camping, so pulled the Water Heater, fixed the leak and pressed on. As a former Avionics Maintenance guy, could trouble shoot those electrical problems fairly well. Always problems with the Fridge panel - the Water Heater panel - the "this panel and the that panel." :) You have really done a great job with your RV. Yes, you should be proud of yourself. We, out here in video land, are proud of you! My wife and I always played "fetch" with our kitty also (her name was Kiki, because we got her at a place in KW called: The Cat House! They helped new baby kitties find homers. We had Kiki 13 years. Loved to play fetch with her, and "her babies!" ha. Always enjoy watching what you are doing. I had a cat that loved to fetch balled up paper. You could take a piece of paper and tear it and he would come running from where he was in the house. It's a very cool way to play with a cat.

Good to see the RV is working out for you, its nice you were able to find an older one in fairly good shape. Most I've seen seem to get trashed, water damaged, nothing works ect... Mostly just rolling nightmares lol. Good Luck!

I'm so jealous! Damn, that is the life! I've been an otr trucker for about 8 months now to get my driving fix and I'm fairly comfortable in my truck. I'd imagine when I get a class c it'll seem like a mansion space-wise! Get up the good work and don't worry about what people say about what you eat, my dad eats pizza about 3-4 times a week and he's 64 and in perfect health, zero medications. Enjoy life!

Eric, I admire your free spirit, ingenuity and independence. I've never owned or traveled in an RV, but I am truly fascinated by them. I want to relocate from Florida to Oregon/Washington area, and am thinking about driving and living out of my car until I find can get settled. Perhaps I can work my way up to something like an RV, but I think I have to ease into it. Loved this video because it's is all about you improving your situation, and that is great. It's obvious your cat is wonderful company. Keep up the good work.

Jax is an amazingly smart kitty! You and Jax seem so much happier in the RV than you were in the van. Nothing against the van, just living in a larger space and having some of the amenities that you didn't have in the van, well, that just makes all the difference in the world! Pizza looked so good!

Nomadic Fanatic. I am glad to see you back and out of a van. It seems like your back home again and Jax loves the space. I am close to starting my life on the road and giving up on beong tied down. I know the haters screw you but that is what they do. I want you to know that there are people like me pushing to rid of the financial burdens they are in and pushing for the true life you live. Yours and those of the community of rv and campervan lifes are an inspiration and a wealth of knowledge. Yours and others experiences are valued testament and knowledge. You are an expert at what you do and would love to see you go back to more explanations. Be careful not to give haters hits but continue to give tips on how you wire and rig things if for no other reason but to give your examples to contrast the other examples.

In one of your videos you mentioned getting a water filter. Should look into the propur traveler or Berkey equivalent. I think Berkey makes better containers.

I was happy to see you in a motorhome again. It is so much better for Jax. I am not against living in a van but it is not the same, I have done both and nothing beats a motorhome for full time living. To me the only downside to mh is the gas expense but it is worth it to be fully self contained, full kitchen, bathroom, etc.

Eric having the internal systems working makes life easier for living in the RV but have you had all the major mechanical checked out. How long was this unit just sitting? Trans flush with filter change, oil and filter change, radiator flush are just as important to get you cross country. Any sludge build up in those components can cause complete failure and a major repair expense. Also fan belts and hoses checked out and replaced if needed. You may have done this but I have not heard you speak of it. Safe Travels

Might want to check that new rubber line from the LP tank. From the brief view I got, looked like it might be dangerously close to the leaf spring, and be subjected to chafing and eventually leak; not good.
