@ProperHonestTech I don’t know if you have shared this trick but if not i think that you should. Making PDF files without third party apps. 1. Open the file you want to convert to pdf. 2. Chose export and chose print 3. In the printer menu instead of chosing an air printer make a zoom out gesture with your index finger and thumb on the thumbnail of the file. 4.the file will open in a new window as a PDF file. 5. Now chose export to save the PDF. I have needed this function for SOOO long. It was very well hidden but now i found it!! 😆

Instead of taking pics of your receipts, scan them as a document. Put it in a folder in your iCloud. A scanned pdf takes up about 1/10 the size of a pic. You don’t need to see receipts in your photos app.

I also don’t recall how I learned about this; possibly from Proper Honest Tech! I can only say it works. I use iPhone 13 Pro, always with the latest iOS. Try it!

Oh! I’m embarrassed because this just hit me: I drive a 2019 Dodge Caravan, which came with an audio system from Uconnect, a Bluetooth device. I can stream music from my iPhone to it, so that’s likely how the phone recalls where I parked. As you now see, I’m quite technologically challenged myself!

Unfortunately, the send later option for texts only works if the recipient has an iPhone. Although Apple claims that the send later option is available for all devices, many iPhone users, including me, have found that the option is not available when you try to text to a non iPhone device.

Another nice tip is using the double and triple tap on the back of your phone. You can then choose from a lot of actions. Also the multiple tap on the side button. I use this to easily access the lense. As always, great contents and quality of your explanations!

I’ll be a rock star at work if the measure tool works as well as described. We do ergonomics. We’re constantly measuring furniture, equipment and people’s limbs lol. We walk around with clunky yellow measuring tapes and notebooks.

During the “Reduce White Points” you chose to remove the flashlight and keep the camera. But there’s already a shortcut gesture straight to the camera so it makes more sense to remove the camera since there’s already 2 ways to it! Enjoy your content

Hi Tom. Great stuff as usual!! The "See Transcript" would be very useful. However, that option is not showing as available on my iPhone 11, running 18.1.1 and in Ireland. Some online research indicates that the feature is available in selected regions, e.g. the USA. Given you are highlighting the feature, I am assuming that the UK may also be a "selected region". Have you heard anything about a roll out to other regions? Like Europe?

Yes, the Photos app needs some work. I took a couple of pictures this morning went to another location and then couldn’t find them, anywhere! I had to go into the iMessage app and pretend as if I was going to do an attachment so it would essentially bring up the pictures as part of the old camera roll. Something is going on between local storage and iCloud storage that’s messing it up

Go to my KZbin channel, and in the menu bar that says Home, Videos, Shorts, Playlists etc, you’ll see an option called Membership. Click on that, and every single PDF is available for you to download.

The utilities folder only appears when the photo app actually detects a receipt in your photos. Take a picture of a receipt and wait until it is detected.
