Step 1: use water and ice shield around entire skylight before installing shingles and flashing. That felt isn't gonna hold up as well as a moisture barrier like water and ice shield will..

Never nail roof side of flashing They give u small nails to nail it to the skylight

nail guns are a no no trashy way of installing a roof ,,you wouldn't get away with that here on Texas Gulf coast

It’s a skylight. No wall in sight. Furthermore the nails are to the outside edge of the flashing. Perhaps you might review manufacturers instructions

@@harleygraf4700 you don't nail the flashing to the skylight? this is how skylights are done. if it was a wall/dormer or anything then you'd nail it to the wall and carry on. lmfao simpletons
