The place in Gijon, for sure you will have to change all the Heating plumbing, the flooring is exactly like mine and was built around the same time. So in the end it will cost around 200.000. They used steel pipes in most of the heating systems. So it's only a matter of time until they break. I've been living in the same building for over 25 years. All 20 units have change there pipes since I've lived here. When my pipes broke, we ran new one's outside of the floor and it works like shit. Most people when they buy a new Piso they spend a year renovating it before they move in because you need a jack hammer the floor to change the pipes. Also the energy was E so they will be putting cladding on the outside of the building. So the community Bill will be high

I have read from different sources that property values in Spain are currently 20 to 30% over valued. I have also noticed that the majority of listings on Idealista just sit there and many are now starting to come down in price significantly.

Great informative video Stu, whilst we were looking to buy property in Spain i preferred Kyero as i liked the format of it,also found it is a waste of time sending an email to the Spanish agents as they do not respond you have to telephone them, kind regards from North Yorks.

In ten years the south will be too hot for 10 months to live . Spaniards moving from the council estates of Alicante etc and moving up north .
