I came across this channel very recently, as I'm doing my research ahead of a move to Turkey (from London) with my family later this year. Great video - and I appreciate the production quality! Will be binge-watching other videos :)

Love Nez's sincerity, passion and love for Turkiye :). By the way, the correct spelling within your video presentation of "immidiate" should be "immediate" :)

I think Turkish CBI will lose its appeal if the threshold is increased to 600K .. I understand that 250K was a bit too cheap, and 600K would a bit expensive.. 400K is the sweet spot.. Don't just target the forex inflows, look at this as a way to bring in diverse foreign talent through a filtering system into your country, which should help Turkey progress even further .. If any immigration should be encouraged, it should be immigration of this sort

While we understand your perspective on the threshold, some might argue that the true value of the Turkish CBI extends beyond monetary considerations. A higher investment threshold could potentially ensure a more discerning and high-quality influx of foreign talent. It's a delicate balance, and diverse viewpoints contribute to a robust discussion.

Different topic but some sellers had to take their properties off the market as you now have to invest $200 k to obtain an RP thorough purchase of property. Some of these sellers properties are worth less than this as per the old rules. If they wanted to sell and buy they would now only be able to apply for a Touristic permit as a property owner which in some cases have been declined. Do you think this could change again down the line, there is so much uncertainty.

It has its implications for first-time foreign homebuyers, but the rest of the process goes smoothly regarding the residence permit, whether tourist or real estate, if the correct instructions are followed, and it does not have a significant impact on the sale if you as a foreigner are selling your property.

I agree with most of that you said, but I can add a couple pros. I think the worst thing we can say about Turkyie which very beautiful and touristic country is the lack of knowledge of English language. The other point I like to add is most people who like to get Turkish citizenship from Canada, USA and Europe are Muslims and like Turkyie as good country to raise families. In this case they don't need Turkish passport to travel. People who can benefit from Turkish passport are from countries where the majority of them cannot afford even $200,000 . So in my humble opinion the Turkish government should lower it to $300,000 - $350,000not increasing it. Side note: if Turkeyie allows Syrians with foreign citizenship from Canada, USA and Europe to apply for citizenship, they may bring 500,000 applicants. Thanks

Personal needs vary from one case to another, so categorizing them into two or three cases is not sufficient. And every government deals with immigration and foreign investment policies differently.

Maybe we should do the same in BRITAIN 🇬🇧 that should solve the immigration problem 😅

Each government tailors its immigration policies based on unique economic and social factors. Considering diverse strategies allows for a positive exchange of ideas, fostering growth and prosperity.

the appreciation is in Lira but after converting to USA isn’t it a loss?
@user-ov2tm2un1r
@user-ov2tm2un1r 10 ай бұрын
Great point! While currency appreciation in Lira is notable, the impact on the overall investment can be positive, especially if the market dynamics and returns outpace inflation. A well-informed investment strategy can potentially mitigate the effects of currency fluctuations. It's crucial to consider a holistic approach to investment that factors in potential gains and local economic conditions.

If u bought second hand 3,4 years ago , it would have been gold , if you buy from the property makers its almost 20% more expensive (they usually pay 10% commission to the agent that brings you there ) , always buy second hand and research the price on sahibinden.

I started pursuing this when it was 250k, when my portfolio reached 300k they bumped it up to 400k, now that i am going to get closer to 400k they are bumping it up to 600k. I am a professional based in Qatar, so for me it is a matter of staying here (Qatar) with a better passport (Turkey) or taking the traditional migration route (Australia, UK, Canada, etc.). Looks like with a 600k price tag, its better to move to the latter countries and buy a house there, at least there will be job opportunities for skilled talents like me . Although i would have loved to be part of Turkiye instead.
