A really great display for the print. I Recently finished one of these orbs myself. I found a file for the device quill used to get the orb at the beginning of the movie.

Nicely done. The only difference I see is the mesh but it’s hard to get the honeycomb pattern so there’s no harm in changing it like you did.

@@PropsNstuff you’re welcome. Yeah building things takes time and it’s never easy. I know this because I build things for a living. Yeah getting something completed always feels satisfying. You can I recommend on getting on investing on a laser cutter that way you can get some clean crisp designs on plastics sheets and other props.

Oooh mold releasing. Use white spirits (wasbenzine in Dutch) and Vaseline mixture. That’s the best and cheapest silicon mold release. I use it for me Silicone casts for sfx make up.

If the maglev is applied to the inside of the stone and the lower chassis, it should be possible to hang the stone without a wire.

All cool and all, but when I think "make", I don't think put together. Something more along the lines of "from scratch". Don't get me wrong, your builds are amazing... Just slot of people don't have all this stuff... Namely, a printer (I mean, I do... 😂). That said, this thing is awesome!

Hello there Mr. Megamito. Yes, You're absolutely right;) But as I believe I mentioned in the video build, I wanted my "Power Stone" Bigger. So that it looked more balanced in proportion to the displaypice as a whole. If That makes any sense:) Annyhow, have a great one! Cheers;)
