speaking of bilingualism, if you are an engineer without any french applying for an engineering job, a young girl without any education who knows both english & french will get preference getting that job before you, so beware and think twice if you want to move to a place like this

@@eatwelllivelonger that’s a great point. Depending on the company language skills can take precedent over competence. A lot of companies do all their internal communications in French and thus you need to be able to speak French over English in those situations.

no mention that french is the national language in Québec ??? and MTL is the economic and cultural métropole of Québec but it is the only thruly bilingual city in canada so adressing québecois in english is innapropriate

@@ljaguinaga False You don't know how many remote workers are in Montréal as of now. All over the city in every french neighbehood now. I feel like a stranger in the town I was born now. I hear more english then french,
