I use to live in South Florida for 11 years and I miss Florida so much! I visit often but not the same. I’ve been begging my husband to move back 😂 praying it happens one day!

Dolly Parton is building a big new venue right by my house (which is for sale). You could buy my house and walk to see the show every night and feel like your in Nashville but you can also walk to the beach... best of both worlds. 😀😎😍

Small world. My husband and I are in Great Falls, MT where he retired from the Air Force. We are looking to movie down to PCB in a couple years. Our young adult kids don’t want to stay here forever either. I am looking at trying to get hired on at Tyndall and we want to fly down for a visit next spring. I am from TN and we always came down to Gulf Shores and PCB for vacation when I was a kid.

I snow bird in Redington beach . January till March temperatures average 70s is it colder in Panama beach during theses months!

It just depends on the year. We usually get a month of winter. I could come in Dec and be done or it might wait until Feb. I have a cool house that my normal snowbirds rent every year, but they aren't coming this year if you are interested in seeing it. It is Tiki Themed.

Hi, is PCB Military Family Veteran friendly? & how about the Wild life, is it true that Alligators, Snakes, Etc can walk in to you back yard unexpectedly?

This town is VERY Military/Veteran friendly. We have a lot of military and ex-military here. But, yes, it is also true that we do have wildlife here. I live on a lake and we just saw our first alligator after 5 years of living on this lake. But, they stay pretty close to water. Same with snakes. But, anywhere in the South you will find critters like this. You might as well be at the beach. 😆

@@richardpasha9332 No, I don't have any regrets. I spent about 13 years out there. I look at moving somewhere as one of those things you can "undo". You can always move back. It's a big adjustment and it's a different kind of life. But, I like the beach life. We just spent 3 years living in the Virgin Islands and decided we didn't like it and we moved back to PCB. So I speak from experience when I say you can always move back. I'm uploading a video of my Tiki House that I'm putting on the market so be sure to check out that video.

I would say it is really good. We have a big hospital in Panama City and many urgent care type facilities in Panama City Beach.

Dont pay attention to these uppermiddle class people. PcB sucks for working class people. The beaches were federaly protected and were destroyed for hotels under the stipulation these hotels and condos have casinos for community profit. We voted on the building under the negotiation through county commisioners we would bring casinos as our lead source of income fornthe county. The county commisioners also embessled millions for hurricane rebuild projects oit of tax dollars when fema funds were already federally approved. 4 were under criminal indictment and 1 commited suicide to avoid jail.
