I've lived in Princeton since July 2022 and as soon as I saw this I knew 380 was gonna be one of the cons😭😭w'ere gonna move us to another place soon but I'm just not sure when and one of the places I'm gonna miss terribly is Las Rocas

The high school does not have orchestra curriculum for my kid which made change my mind our buying in Princeton. Overall school ISD is average compare to other cities.

The home prices reflect that. Princeton has the cheapest new construction in the area. Schools are definitely improving and are still well above average compared to most states people are moving from! Have you found a home yet?

Informative. Now I see why people are moving here, it’s horrible to some of us like me seeing the rapid growth. Beautiful fields destroyed with houses that all look the same and people complaining about lack of options for groceries or food within 5 minutes of their house when they chose to move to Princeton which is 20 mins or so from McKinney depending on the time of day. That lagoon place that they’re supposedly gonna build here? That used to be a wide open beautiful field as recently as last year. I drove by it on the way to the barn every day. Now it’s being destroyed with some mega concrete structure that looks like it was supposed to be in California. A word of advice, if you want everything close by move somewhere that has things close by. Please don’t move to towns rather than cities and complain about how there’s no options for this or that within 5 minutes of you when you chose to move here where there’s clearly nothing like in Plano within 5 minutes of here.

Great video. Thanks. I work in McKinney and was nervous this might be far from my job. I’m used to driving in Chicago traffic, so if it’s just 30 min away from my job, I’m still ok with that. How’s the shopping? Grocery stores? I know Allen is near by but are there other stores nearby? I’m looking to buy with Lennar in the Bridgewater area

Thank you! Princeton has a Walmart, but you won’t find many options as far as shopping goes. I’m sure that will change as it continues to grow! It’s a quick trip to Mckinney though. How is Princenton compared to Aubrey (pros and cons)

Hey Rabi! There are quite a few similarities. Both were really small towns with lots of growth over the past few years. I believe Princeton currently has twice the population. Schools and pricing are similar as well. The biggest difference would have to be location. Aubrey is close to Prosper/Frisco on the west side and Princeton is close the Mckinney/Allen on the East side. Both are great options to get more for your money than you would in neighboring cities! Totally different worlds.. Princeton is on the outskirts in a growing area. Allen is completely built out and Frisco is like a small Dallas. Price per square foot this past week in Princeton was around $200 a foot while Frisco was around $250.

You can buy a new construction in Princeton in the 300s while you will be near 600k minimum in those other areas.
